Abstract
Sindrom Metabolik (SM) merupakan kelainan metabolik kompleks yang ditandai dengan adanya obesitas sentral, dislipidemia, gula darah puasa tinggi, tekanan darah tinggi. Keadaan ini akan meningkatkan risiko terjadinya penyakit jantung, diabetes melitus (DM), dan stroke. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan insidensi pada penderita DM tipe 2 dengan sindrom metabolik atau dengan non sindrom metabolik.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deksriptif retrospektif pada pasien DM tipe 2 yang berobat di Poliklinik Penyakit Dalam Rumah Sakit Umum Universitas Kristen Indonesia (RSU UKI) periode tahun 2015. Sindrom metabolik ditegakkan jika dijumpai 3 kriteria atau lebih, yaitu BMI >25, peningkatan tekanan darah, peningkatan trigliserida darah, peningkatan kadar kolesterol HDL, dan peningkatan kadar glukosa darah. Hasil yang diperoleh dari 60 pasien DM tipe 2 yang dijadikan subjek penelitian terdapat 46 orang (76,7%) dengan sindrom metabolik dan 14 orang (23,3 %) dengan non sindrom metabolik. Perbandingan jumlah pasien DM tipe 2 dengan sindrom metabolik lebih tinggi dibandingkan pasien DM tipe 2 dengan non sindrom metabolik di RSU UKI pada tahun 2015. Kata Kunci: diabetes melitus tipe 2, sindrom metabolik, non sindrom metabolik. / Metabolic Syndrome (MethS) is a complex metabolic disorder characterized by central obesity, dyslipidemia, high fasting blood sugar, and high blood pressure. This situation will increase the risk of heart disease, diabetes mellitus (DM), and stroke. The aims of this study to find out the difference incidence in patients type 2 diabetes with metabolic syndrome or non metabolic syndrome.This study is a retrospective descriptive study in patients with type 2 diabetes who seek treatment at the Polyclinic Internal Medicine Universitas Kristen Indonesia General Hospital in 2015. The metabolic syndrome is made when met three or more criteria, ie BMI> 25, increased blood pressure, increased blood triglycerides, increased HDL cholesterol levels, and increased blood glucose levels.The results were obtained from 60 patients with type 2 diabetes were used as research subject. There are 46 people (76,7%) with metabolic syndrome and 14 (23,3%) with non metabolic syndrome. Comparison of the number of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with metabolic syndrome was higher than type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with non metabolic syndrome in UKI Hospital in 2015.
