Abstract

Diare sampai saat ini masih menjadi masalah utama di masyarakat yang sulit untuk ditanggulangi. Menurut data World Health Organization (WHO) pada tahun 2009, diare adalah penyebab kematian kedua pada anak. Kurangnya tingkat pengetahuan serta buruknya perilaku kebersihan diri pada anak-anak seringkali menjadi faktor utama terjadinya diare. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan dan perilaku higenis pada siswa siswi kelas 5 dan 6 dalam pencegahan terjadinya diare di SDN 03 Pondok Ranji Ciputat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey analitic dengan pendekatan potong lintang. Dalam penelitian ini sampel yang digunakan adalah seluruh populasi anak kelas 5 dan 6 di SDN 03 Pondok Ranji Ciputat Hasil penelitian dari 80 responden menunjukan bahwa yang memiliki tingkat pengetahuan dan perilaku yang buruk terhadap higenitas diri berjumlah 39 orang (48,8%) sedangkan yang memiliki pengetahuan dan perilaku yang baik terhadap higenitas diri berjumlah 41 orang (51,3%). Kata Kunci: Diare, Kebersihan Pribadi, Tingkat Pengetahuan, Perilaku, SDN 03 Pondok Ranji Ciputat. / Until this moment, diarrhea was the first major health problem that difficult to overcome in the society. According to World Health Organization (WHO) in 2009, diarrhea was the second disease that causes the death to children. Lack of knowledge and poor of personal hygiene behavior in children is often a major factor in the occurrence of diarrhea. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge and hygienic behavior in students of grade 5 and 6 in the prevention of diarrhea at SDN 03 Pondok Ranji Ciputat. This research employed analytic survey with cross sectional approach. In this research, the sampling used was the entire population of grade 5 and 6 at SDN 03 Pondok Ranji Ciputat with the total 80 people of research subject, consisting of 40 people from grade 5th and the other 40 people from grade 6th at SDN 03 Pondok Ranji Ciputat. The result of 80 respondents showed that respondents with bad level of knowledge and behavior of personal hygiene were 39 people (48,8%) and respondents with good level of knowledge and behavior of personal hygiene were 41 people (51,3%).
