Abstract

Skripsi ini membahas identitas fans klub sepak bola Barcelona. Barcelona merupakan klub papan atas Eropa yang memiliki banyak fans di Indonesia. Peneliatan ini melihat proses pembentukan identitas fans yang kemudian mendapatkan peneguhan lewat identitas sosial di komunitas Indonesian Barcelona (Indo Barca). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan konstruktivis dengan memakai teori konstruksi sosial dan identitas sosial untuk mengetahui proses pembentukan identitas fans Barcelona. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif mengingat data yang dikumpulkan berupa penjelasan dari narasumber yang dijadikan informan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan Observasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini melihat bagaimana identitas yang terbentuk melalui proses ekternalisasi yakni melakukan aktivitas terkait sepak bola, objektivitasi dengan menunjukan sikap dan mental sebagai Barcelonistas dan internalisasi yakni dengan pengungkapan makna akan identitas Barcelonistas. Kemudian identitas mengidentifikasi komunitas. Lalu dilanjutkan dengan mengadopsi identitas kelompok tersebut melalui interaksi secara terus menerus di antara sesama anggota akhirnya membentuk identitas baru sebagai anggota Indo Barca. Terakhir adalah perbandingan sosial yakni membandingkan kelompoknya dengan kelompok lain Kata kunci : Konstruksi Sosial, Sepakbola, Khalayak. / These thesis is discussed about the identity of fans soccer club Barcelona.Barcelona is one of the top soccer club in Europe and having many fans in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to knows and look at the process the forming of fansidentity who then get the strengthening through social identification in the Indonesian Barcelona community ( indobarca ) . This research using the constructivistapproach by wearing social construction and social identity to know the identity of the process of forming Barcelona’s fans.This research is descriptive considering the data collected in the form of an explanation from speakers which used as informants. Data collection techniques using interviews and observations .The result of this research is to see how identity formed through externalizationswhich means the process of doing activity related to football , objectivities showed an attitude and mental as Barcelonistas. and internalization which means will ofthe disclose the identity of Barcelonistas.Then identify community identity . And then continued with adopting the identity of the group through the interaction of a continuous among fellow members eventually form new identity as a member of barca indo . Last is the social comparison social that is comparing a group to another group. Keywords: Social Construction, Soccer, Khalayak.
