Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas peran dan pengaruh Indonenesian Conference on Reliogion and Peace (ICRP) dalam perkembangan dan pembangunan dinamika fluktuasi hubungan Indonesia-Israel. Pembahasan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan konsep hubungan bilateral untuk mendeskripsikan stagnansi hubungan bilateral Indonesia-Israel. Kemudian pembahasan penelitian ini juga menggunakan teori konstruktivisme untuk menganalisa penyebab tidak berkembangnya hubungan Indonesia-Israel. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan konsep Organisasi Non-Pemerintah dalam mendeskripsikan peran serta pengaruh ICRP dalam pembangunan hubungan Indonesia-Israel. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan data primer berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi dengan ICRP serta data sekunder berupa buku dan artikel jurnal penelitian yang terkait Indonesia, Palestina, serta Israel. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa program bahasa Ibrani di pusat studi Ibrani ICRP dapat mempengaruhi persepsi masyarakat Indonesia dalam melihat Israel secara positif dan jika perubahan persepsi masyarakat dalam melihat Israel berubah ke arah positif, pemerinatah Indonesia akan leluasa untuk berkomunikasi terkait normalisasi hubungan diplomatik dengan Israel. Kata Kunci: ICRP, Bahasa Ibrani, Indonesia, Israel, Normalisasi. / This study discusses the role and influence of the Indonesian Conference on Religion and Peace (ICRP) in the development and development of the dynamics of fluctuations in Indonesia-Israel relations. The discussion in this study uses the concept of bilateral relations to describe the stagnant bilateral relations between Indonesia and Israel. Then the discussion of this research also uses constructivism theory to analyze the causes of the non-development of Indonesia-Israel relations. This research also uses the concept of Non-Governmental Organization in describing the role and influence of ICRP in the development of Indonesia-Israel relations. This study uses qualitative methods with primary data in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation with ICRP as well as secondary data in the form of books and research journal articles related to Indonesia, Palestine, and Israel. The results of this study found that the Hebrew language program at the ICRP Hebrew study center can influence the perception of the Indonesian people in seeing Israel positively and if changes in public perception in seeing Israel change in a positive direction, the Indonesian government will be free to communicate regarding the normalization of diplomatic relations with Israel.
