Abstract

Kualitas tidur adalah pengalaman tidur yang dapat memberikan kesegaran dan perasaan penuh semangat dalam menjalankan aktivitas tanpa menunjukan perasaan lelah. Kualitas tidur yang baik sangat mempengaruhi aktivitas sehari-hari, terlebih bagi mahasiswa fakultas kedokteran yang dalam kesehariannya penuh dengan kesibukan yang memerlukan fokus yang tinggi. Ada beberapa faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kualitas tidur, misalnya tempat kediaman dan jenis kelamin. Aktivitas keseharian bagi mahasiswa fakultas kedokteran yang dalam kesehariannya penuh dengan jadwal belajar yang padat memiliki korelasi dengan kualitas tidurnya. Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan Karakteristik Mahasiswa Terhadap Kualitas Tidur Di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Kristen Indonesia Tahun 2023. Penulis dalam melakukan riset ini menggunakan metode analitik cross sectional melalui pendekatan kuantitatif, sampel yang digunakan adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Kristen Indonesia tahun angkatan 2023 sebanyak 121 mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara usia dengan kualitas tidur, namun terdapat hubungan antara jenis kelamin dan tempat tinggal mahasiswa dengan kualitas tidur. / Quality sleep is a sleep experience that can provide freshness and a feeling of enthusiasm in carrying out activities without showing feelings of fatigue. Good sleep quality greatly affects daily activities, especially for medical school students who are full of daily activities that require high focus. A number of variables, including gender and place of residence, might impact the quality of sleep. Poor sleep quality can affect daily activities, especially for medical school students who are full of busy study schedules in their daily lives. The purpose of the study is to ascertain how the qualities of sleep and the characteristics of the students at the Christian University of Indonesia's Faculty of Medicine in 2023 are related. The study employed a quantitative cross-sectional analytical research design with 121 students from the Christian University of Indonesia's Faculty of Medicine in the class of 2023 as the sample. The results found that there was no relationship between age and sleep quality, but there was a relationship between sex and student residence with sleep quality.
