Abstract

Fraktur adalah diskontinuitas atau putusnya kesatuan dari jaringan tulang, baik berupa retakan sampai dengan patah komplit. Indonesia merupakan negara yang memiliki angka kejadian fraktur terbesar di Asia Tenggara sebanyak 1,3 juta setiap tahunnya dengan jumlah penduduk 238 juta jiwa di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui karakteristik pasien dengan fraktur karakteristik pasien dengan fraktur pada ekstremitas atas di Rumah Sakit Umum Univesitas Kristen Indonesia periode 2019-2022. Penelitian dilakukan di RSU UKI dengan sampel penelitian seluruh rekam medik pasien yang mengalami fraktur ekstremitas atas di RSU UKI pada tahun 2018-2023. Teknik pengambilan sampel ini dilakukan dengan mengambil seluruh anggota populasi yang telah memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Hasil penelitian didapatkan kelompok usia terbanyak pada 19-55 tahun sebanyak 32 orang (64%). Berdasarkan jenis kelamin terbanyak adalah laki-laki sebanyak 38 orang (76%). Berdasarkan riwayat medis terbanyak adalah tidak memiliki riwayat medis sebanyak 38 orang (76%). Berdasarkan lokasi fraktur terbanyak pada 1/3 distal radius sebanyak 17 orang (34%). Berdasarkan pengaruh alkohol terbanyak adalah tidak mengonsumsi alkohol sebanyak 45 orang (90%). Kesimpulan penelitian karakteristik terbanyak adalah usia 19-55 tahun, jenis kelamin laki-laki, tidak memiliki riwayat medis sebelumnya, lokasi fraktur 1/3 distal radius, dan tidak mengonsumsi alkohol. / A fracture is a discontinuity or break in the integrity of bone tissue, either in the form of a crack to a complete break. Indonesia is a country that has the largest number of fractures in Southeast Asia at 1.3 million every year with a population of 238 million people in Indonesia. The aim of the study was to determine the characteristics of patients with fractures, characteristics of patients with fractures of the upper extremities at the Indonesian Christian University General Hospital for the 2019-2022 period. The research was conducted at RSU UKI with a research sample of all medical records of patients who experienced upper extremity fractures at RSU UKI in 2018-2023. This sampling technique is carried out by taking all members of the population who meet the inclusion criteria. The research results showed that the largest age group was 19-55 years, 32 people (64%). Based on gender, the majority were men, 38 people (76%). Based on medical history, 38 people (76%) had no medical history. Based on the location of the most frequent fractures in the distal 1/3 of the radius, there were 17 people (34%). Based on the influence of alcohol, 45 people (90%) do not consume alcohol. The study concluded that the most common characteristics were age 19-55 years, male gender, no previous medical history, fracture location 1/3 of the distal radius, and not consuming alcohol.
