Abstract

Setiap orang memiliki ciri khas yang unik, mulai dari bentuk wajah, postur tubuh, karakter hingga bakat yang dimiliki. Keunikan tersebut dapat menjadi pembeda dan upaya untuk mengembangkan potensi diri. Salah satu bakat yang dimiliki oleh setiap orang adalah mengembangkan diri melalui Game Online yang menjadi sangat populer dan mudah diakses sejak kemunculannya. Game online dapat dimainkan di berbagai platform seperti komputer pribadi (PC), konsol game, dan smartphone. Dalam memainkan game online diperlukan keterampilan komunikasi antar budaya. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yang ditujukan untuk menggambarkan fenomena yang ada secara alami. Peneliti mendapatkan hasil data penelitian melalui wawancara secara mendalam dengan informan yang telah ditentukan melalui observasi. Peneliti menganalisa personal branding dengan mengethaui cara gamers PUBG kualitas hidup mereka, serta mengembangkan potensi diri dalam menggunakan media sosial. / Everyone has unique characteristics, from face shape, posture, character to talent. This uniqueness can be a differentiator and an effort to develop self-potential. One of the talents that everyone has is to develop themselves through online games which have become very popular and easily accessible since their emergence. Online games can be played on various platforms such as personal computers (PCs), game consoles and smartphones. Playing online games requires intercultural communication skills. In this study, researchers used qualitative research methods aimed at describing existing phenomena naturally. Researchers obtained the results of research data through in-depth interviews with informants who had been determined through observation. Researchers analyze personal branding by knowing how PUBG gamers quality their lives, and develop their potential in using social media.
