Abstract

Perkembangan penelitian tentang kesehatan, termasuk mendapatkan informasi terkait perkembangan penyakit yang terjadi, salah satunya penyakit degeneratif. Penyakit degeneratif dapat terjadi karena kerusakan sel tubuh yang disebabkan jumlah radikal bebas yang tidak terkendali. Beras Hitam telah terbukti memiliki efek antioksidan alami. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antioksidan dari ekstrak beras hitam dengan pelarut klorofom dan etanol dan metabolit yang terkandung didalamnya dengan metode GC-MS yang berpotensi menjadi senyawa bioaktif. Uji aktivitas antioksidan Beras Hitam menggunakan metode 2,2-diphenyl-1-picryhydrazyl (DPPH) menghasilkan nilai IC50 sebesar 4,67 ppm Untuk pelarut klorofom dan 52,45 ppm Untuk pelarut etanol. Kandungan senyawa metabolit tertinggi ada pada ekstrak beras hitam dengan pelarut klorofom yaitu Asam Palmitat (54,3%). / The development of the times makes it easier for people to get information related to the development of research on health, including getting information related to the development of diseases that occur, one of which is degenerative disease. Degenerative disease can occur do to damage to body cells caused by uncontrolled amounts of free radicals. Black Rice has been shown to have natural antioxidant effects. Therefore, this study aims to determine the antioxidant activity of black rice extract with chlorophom and ethanol solvents and the metabolites contained in it by GC-MS method which have the potential to become bioactive compounds. The antioxidant activity test of black rice using the 2,2-diphenyl-1-picryhydrazyl (DPPH) method resulted in an IC50 value of 4.67 ppm for chloropom solvent and 52.45 ppm for ethanol solvent. The highest content of metabolite compounds in black rice extract with chlorophom solvent is Palmitic acid (54.3%).
