Abstract

Tes Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) forensik adalah salah satu dari banyak modalitas identifikasi yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi korban peristiwa kematian massal. Proses DVI adalah serangkaian kegiatan yang diakui secara internasional dan telah dikembangkan selama beberapa tahun. Metode ini telah diuji pada bencana besar di banyak belahan dunia dan terbukti merupakan metode yang dapat diandalkan dalam menghubungkan data korban postmortem dengan data yang hilang. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan identifikasi peran pemeriksaan DNA dalam identifikasi korban bencana melalui ulasan literatur sistemik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah ulasan literature review sistematik (systematic literature review) dengan mencari artikel di PubMed® (artikel dari 2013 sampai sekarang). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 31 artikel PubMed® (2013 sampai 2023) sesuai kata kunci Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) dan Disaster Victim Identification (DVI). Dari seluruh penelitian yang sudah dilakukan dan berkaitan dengan peran pemeriksaan DNA dalam identifikasi korban bencana, didapatkan bahwa hasil dari peran pemeriksaan DNA sangat bermanfaat dalam mengidentifikasi korban. / Forensic Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) testing is one of many identification modalities used to identify victims of mass fatality events. The DVI process is an internationally recognized series of activities and has been in development for several years. This method has been tested in major disasters in many parts of the world and proven to be a reliable method in linking postmortem victim data with missing data.In this research, the role of DNA examination in identifying disaster victims was identified through a systemic literature review. The research method used in this research is a systematic literature review by searching for articles in PubMed® (articles from 2013 to the present). The population in this study was 31 PubMed® articles (2013 to 2023) according to the keywords Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) and Disaster Victim Identification (DVI). From all the research that has been carried out and related to the role of DNA examination in identifying disaster victims, it was found that the results of the role of DNA examination are very useful in identifying victims.
