Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui strategi Poros Maritim Dunia Indonesia menghadapi Maritime Silk Road Tiongkok. Isu yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini akan dikaji dengan menggunakan pendekatan Regional Security Complex oleh Barry Buzan, serta dikuatkan dengan argumen Politik Luar Negeri Howard Lentner dan Rosenou. Di mana kedua pendekatan terssebut dipakai untuk memahami dan menganalisa Maritime dari persepsi kerja sama dan ancaman pada pengembengan gagasan Poros Maritim Dunia. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan metode kualitatif yang dianalisa berdasarkan deskriptif analitik untuk mengetahui strategi preventif Poros Maritim Dunia. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa dengan deteksi dini, pengoptimalan politik luar negeri, dan memperkuat keamanan maritim menjadi kunci mengantisipasi kebijakan luar negeri Tiongkok. Kata kunci: Poros Maritim Dunia, Maritime Silk Road, Regional Security Complex, Politik Luar Negeri, Strategi. / This research aims to explore the strategy of Indonesia’s World Maritime Axis to face China’s Maritime Silk Road. The issues in this research will be studied using the Regional Security Complex approach by Barry Buzan, and strengthened by the arguments of Howard Lentner and Rosenou’s Foreign Policy. Where both approaches are used to understand and analyze the Maritime Silk Road from perceptions of cooperation and threats to the development of the idea of the World Maritime Axis. This study also uses a qualitative method which is analyzed based on analytical descriptive to determine the preventive strategy of Chinese Maritime Silk Road. This study finds that early detection, optimization of foreign policy, and strengthening maritime security are the keys to anticipating China’s foreign policy.
