Abstract

Meskipun asrama mahasiswa dimaksudkan untuk menyediakan tempat tinggal dan hunian bagi siswa perguruan tinggi, mereka sekarang juga berperan penting sebagai sarana untuk membentuk komunitas dengan berbagai kegiatan yang dapat dilakukan di dalamnya. Asrama biasanya dibangun dengan tiga tujuan utama: untuk memfasilitasi interaksi sosial, membantu siswa belajar, dan menjaga kesehatan mereka. Namun, belum ada bangunan asrama mahasiswa yang memenuhi tujuan yang disebutkan di atas di salah satu universitas di Depok, Universitas Gunadarma. Tujuan dari perencanaan dan perancangan ini adalah untuk memenuhi ketiga hal yang sudah disebutkan sebelumnya, yaitu sebagai tempat interaksi sosial, peningkatan akademik, dan memberikan tempat tinggal yang nyaman, aman, dan berkelanjutan. Perancangan ini juga dapat memenuhi kebutuhan tempat tinggal mahasiswa seperti bangunan asrama pada umumnya. Konsep biophilic, yang menggunakan pendekatan bangunan dengan alam, dapat membantu penghuni asrama Universitas Gunadarma merasa nyaman. Kata kunci : Asrama, Universitas Gunadarma, Depok, Biophilic. / Although student residences were meant to provide college students with a place to live and live, they now also play an important role as a means of forming a community with a variety of activities to take place within. Dormitories are usually built with three main goals in mind: facilitating social interaction, helping students learn, and maintaining their health. However, there is not yet a student dormitory building that fulfills the above-mentioned objectives in one of the universities in Depok, Gunadarma University. The purpose of this planning and determination is to fulfill the three things previously mentioned, namely as a place for social interaction, academic improvement, and providing a comfortable, safe and sustainable place to live. This design can also meet the needs of student housing such as dormitory buildings in general.
