Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang begitu cepat dan signifikan, mempengaruhi setiap aspek kehidupan manusia. Penggunaan berbagai jenis perangkat gawai adalah salah satu perkembangan teknologi yang sudah menjadi kebutuhan pada berbagai kelompok usia, termasuk remaja. Penelitian-penelitian terdahulu menunjukkan adanya pengaruh penggunaan gawai yang berlebihan terhadap perubahan perilaku pada remaja. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian observasional analitik. dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Hasil uji analisis menggunakan uji fisher exact dengan nilai p = 0.011 menunjukan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan gawai terhadap siswa berusia 14 tahun. Berdasarkan jenis kelamin paling banyak adalah perempuan sebanyak 31 orang (53.4%). Siswa kelas VIII SMP Marsudirini paling banyak menggunakan gawai dalam kategori sering (51.7%). Sikap konsumtif pembelian gawai pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Marsudirini paling banyak dalam kategori tidak sebanyak 56 orang (96.6%). Perubahan perilaku sosial siswa kelas VIII SMP Marsudirini paling banyak dalam kategori baik sebanyak 49 orang (84.5%). Kata Kunci: Gawai, Perilaku Sosial, Berinteraksi, SMP. / Advances in information and communication technologies are so rapid and significant that gadgets affect every aspect of human life. The use of various types of gadgets is one of the technological developments that has become a necessity for various age groups, including adolescents. Previous studies have shown the effect of excessive gadgets on behavioural changes in adolescents. This research method is analytical observational research with a cross-sectional approach. The results of the analysis test using the Fisher exact test with a p value of 0.011 showed that there was a significant influence of gadgets on 14-year-old students. Based on gender, the largest number of women was 31 (53.4%). Junior high school students in Marsudirini used the most gadgets in the frequent category (51.7%). The consumer attitude towards purchasing gadgets among the students of the 8th grade at Marsudirini Junior high School was the highest in the category of not as many as 56 people (96.6%). The changes in social behaviour of students in the eighth grade at Marsudirini Junior high School were most positive for 49 people (84.5%).
