Abstract
Politik luar negeri Cina telah menjadikan Afrika sebagai mitra strategis abad 21. Peaceful Development adalah sebuah kebijakan yang menjadi landasan bagi Cina dalam politik luar negerinya. Berbagai negara di kawasan tersebut menikmati dukungan pembangunan, investasi, dan pembiayaan, termasuk pinjaman keuangan di bidang-bidang infrastruktur jalan, pengadaan air bersih, listrik, hingga sektor kebutuhan dasar Cina. Skripsi ini hendak mengetahui mengapa Cina memilih kawasan Afrika sebagai mitra kerjasama strategis abad 21 yang berfokus pada enam negara kawasan, yakni Sudan, Algeria, Ghana, Kenya, Ethiopia, dan Angola. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui dokumentasi. Konsep yang digunakan sebagai landasan peneliti dalam menjawab pertanyaan penelitian adalah konsep politik luar negeri dan teori aktor rasional. FOCAC merupakan salah satu organisasi untuk mengetahui kerjasama yang terjalin antara Cina dan Afrika abad 21. Kata Kunci : Cina, Afrika, FOCAC, Politik Luar Negeri, Aktor Rasional, Mitra Strategis Chinese foreign policy has made Africa a strategic partner of the 21st century. Peaceful Development is a policy that is the basis for China in its foreign policy. Various countries in the region enjoy the support of development, investment and financing, including financial loans in the fields of road infrastructure, water supply, electricity, to the basic needs sector of China. This thesis wants to find out why China chose the African region as a strategic partner of the 21st century that focuses on six regional countries, namely Sudan, Algeria, Ghana, Kenya, Ethiopia and Angola. The process of collecting data is done through documents. The concept used as a foundation for researchers in answering research questions is the concept of foreign politics and rational actor theory.
