Abstract

Pendidikan erat kaitannya dengan sekolah, dari sekolah siswa dapat mempelajari berbagai ilmu pengetahuan yang dapat digunakan dalam kehidupannya. Penyelenggaran pendidikan di sekolah lebih dikenal dengan pembelajaran yang melibatkan banyak faktor diantaranya, faktor guru, siswa, bahan atau materi ajar, fasilitas dan lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan PhET untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Populasi penelitian ini kelas XI MIPA SMAN 14 Jakarta sejumlah 150 orang, dan sampel yaitu kelas XI MIPA IV dan kelas XI MIPA V sejumlah 60 orang. Diperoleh data berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Hasil uji T angket siswa menunjukkan nilai sig kelas eksperimen 0,642 dan nilai sig kelas kontrol 0,260. Hasil uji n-gain data angket kelas ekperimen menunjukan 0,014 dan hasil uji n-gain kelas kontrol adalah -0,03. Untuk hasil uji T data soal pretest dan postest hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen dan kontrol menunjukan nilai sig 0,00 Untuk hasil uji n-gain soal prestest dan postest kelas eksperimen diperoleh nilai sig 0,78 kategori tinggi dan nilai n-gain kelas kontrol diperoleh nilai sig 0,53 kategori sedang. Hal ini menunjukkan penggunaan model problem based learning berbantuan PhET dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Kata kunci : Hasil Belajar, Motivasi Belajar, PhET , Problem Based Learning. / Education is closely related to school, from school students can learn various knowledge that can be used in their lives. The implementation of education in schools is better known as learning which involves many factors including teacher factors, students, materials or teaching materials, facilities and the school environment. This study was to determine the effect of using the PhET-assisted Problem Based Learning model to increase student motivation and learning outcomes. The population of this study was class XI MIPA SMAN 14 Jakarta totaling 150 people, and the sample was class XI MIPA IV and class XI MIPA V totaling 60 people. The data obtained are normally distributed and homogeneous. The results of the student questionnaire test showed the sig value of the experimental class was 0.642 and the sig value of the control class was 0.260. The n-gain test results of the experimental class data showed 0.014 and the control class n-gain test results were -0.03. For the results of the T test, the pretest and posttest data for experimental and control class student learning outcomes showed a sig value of 0.00. sig value 0.53 medium category. This shows that the use of the PhET-assisted problem-based learning model can improve student learning outcomes. Keywords: Learning Motivation, Learning Outcomes, PhET, Problem Based Learning
