Abstract
Legal protection for consumers associate with Law Number 15 Year 2001 About the brand, aims to protect the rights of consumers as users of goods and services, especially for users of the product trademarks that are circulating in the community. This study was to assess, analyze legal protection for consumers that the quality trademark users and the quality is questionable. The number of violations of Intellectual Property Rights in the product brand that turned out cheaper and quality as well as lower kuliatasnya, so it can harm consumers as users of goods with quality under lower standards than the value of the price paid
