Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki satu tujuan yaitu untuk mengetahui pemahaman konsep siswa dalam pembelajaran online. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 11 Bekasi. Penelitian ini merupakan metode campuran (mix method) dengan jenis concurrent embedded design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah instrumen tes tertulis untuk mengumpulkan data pemahaman konsep siswa tentang materi segitiga dan segiempat dalam pembelajaran online kemudian menganalisisnya secara deskriptif dan wawancara untuk menggali dengan mengajukan pertanyaan terkait hal – hal yang berkaitan dengan pemahaman konsep siswa tentang materi segitiga dan segiempat dalam pembelajaran online. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tingkat pemahaman konsep siswa berada dalam kategori sedang ditemukan pada dua indikator, yaitu mengklasifikasikan objek menurut sifat – sifat (61,29%) dan mengembangkan syarat perlu atau syarat cukup dari suatu konsep (65,73%). Kemudian, pemahaman konsep siswa berada dalam kategori rendah ditemukan pada 5 indikator, yaitu menyatakan ulang sebuah konsep (31,29%), memberikan contoh dan bukan contoh dari suatu konsep (58,06%), menyajikan konsep dalam berbagai bentuk representasi matematis (34,19%), menggunakan dan memanfaatkan serta memilih prosedur atau operasi tertentu (51,77%), dan mengaplikasikan konsep atau algoritma pada pemecahan masalah (31,81%). / This research has one goal, namely to determine the understanding of students' concepts in online learning. The subjects in this study were seventh grade students at SMP Negeri 11 Bekasi. This research is a mixed method (mix method) with the type of concurrent embedded design. The data collection technique used is a written test instrument to collect data on students' conceptual understanding of the triangle and quadrilateral material in online learning then analyze it descriptively and interviews to explore by asking questions related to matters relating to students' conceptual understanding of triangle and quadrilateral material in online learning. Based on the results of the research, the level of understanding of students' concepts in the medium category was found in two indicators, namely classifying objects according to their properties (61.29%) and developing necessary or sufficient requirements of a concept (65.73%). Then, students' understanding of concepts in the low category was found in 5 indicators, namely restating a concept (31.29%), providing examples and not examples of a concept (58.06%), presenting concepts in various forms of mathematical representation (34 .19%), using and utilizing and selecting certain procedures or operations (51.77%), and applying concepts or algorithms to problem solving (31.81%).
