Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar kimia siswa melalui metode eksperimen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi exsperiemen (eksperimen semu). Metode eksperimen merupakan variabel bebas sedangkan hasil belajr kimia siswa merupakan variabel terikat. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah prettest posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMA Widya Manggala. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dari dua kelas yaitu kelas X MIA1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X MIA2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan sampel yang dilakaukan dengan cara purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan, disimpulkan bahwa metode eksperimen dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kimia siswa yang dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan jumlah siswa yang mememnuhi ketuntasan minimal. Dari hasil pengolahan data diketahui pada kelas eksperimen skor pretes terendah 25 dan skor tertinggi 65 dengan rata-rata 42,2. Sedangkan skor postes di kelas eksperimen terendah 65 dan tertinggi 95 dengan rata-rata 73,12 . Pada pretes kelas eksperimen 100% tidak tuntas atau tidak mencapai KKM kerena belum memahami materi, kurang mengerti dan setelah diberikan perlakuan pada kelas eksperimen siswa 56,25% tuntas atau mencapai KKM. karena sudah diberikan perlakuan. Hasil hipotesis data pretes dan postes kelsa eksperimen di dapatkan thitung sebesar 8,147 < ttabel sebesar 2,131. Pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa nilai Sig.(2-tailed)< 0,05 sehingga Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada peningkatan hasil belajar kimia siswa melalui metode eksperimen. While the postes score in the lowest experimental class 65 and the highest 95 with an average of 73.12. In the experimental class pretest 100% incomplete or did not reach the KKM because they have not understood the material, lack of understanding and after being given treatment at the experimental class students 56.25% complete or reach KKM. because it has been given treatment. The result of hypothesis of pretest and postes data of experimental kelsa got tcount of 8,147 <ttabel 2,131. Data processing shows that the value of Sig. (2-tailed) <0,05 so that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is an increase in student's chemical learning outcomes through experimental methods.
