Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) dan literasi keuangan terhadap minat investasi mahasiswa Fakultas Vokasi Universitas Kristen Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif kasual melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 45 mahasiswa sebagai responden penelitian. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas, analisis deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linier berganda, serta uji hipotesis melalui uji t dan uji F dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa FoMO tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat investasi mahasiswa, dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,131 dan signifikansi 0,292. Literasi keuangan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat investasi mahasiswa, dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,720 (p < 0,05) dan signifikan terhadap minat investasi mahasiswa, yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai Fhitung sebesar 24,232 dengan signifikansi 0,000. Nilai Adjusted R Square sebesar 0,514 menunjukkan bahwa FoMO dan literasi keuangan mampu menjelaskan 51,4% variasi minat investasi mahasiswa, sedangkan sisanya 48,6% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian ini seperti persepsi risiko, modal minimal, financial technology, dan gaya hidup. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa literasi keuangan merupakan faktor dominan yang mendorong minat investasi mahasiswa, sehingga penguatan program edukasi keuangan di lingkungan kampus menjadi rrekomendasi utama penelitian ini. Kata Kunci : Fear of Missing Out (FoMO), Literasi Keuangan, Minat Investasi Mahasiswa. / This study aims to examine the effect of Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) and financial literacy on the investment interest of students at the Vocational Faculty of Universitas Kristen Indonesia. This study employed a quantitative method with a causal-associative approach through the distribution of questionnaires to 45 students as research respondents. Data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, descriptive analysis, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing through t-tests and F-tests with the assistance of SPSS software version 26. The results indicate that FoMO does not have a significant effect on student investment interest, with a regression coefficient of 0.131 and a significance value of 0.292. Financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on student investment interest, with a regression coefficient of 0.720 (p < 0,05) and a significance value of 0.000. Simultaneously, FoMO and financial literacy have a significant effect on student investment interest, as indicated by an F-value of 24.232 with a significance value of 0.000. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.514 indicates that FoMO and financial literacy are able to explain 51.4% of the variation in student investment interest, while the remaining 46.4% is influenced by other factors outside this study such as risk perception, minimum capital, financial technology, and lifestyle. This study confirms that financial literacy is the dominant factor driving student investment interest, making the strengthening of financial education programs within the campus environment the primary recommendation of this study.
