Abstract

Tesis ini membahas Pendidikan Agama Kristen sebagai fondasi moral bagi siswa kelas 4 dan 5 di SD Kwitang 8 PSKD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pendidikan Agama Kristen di kelas 4 dan 5 SD Kwitang 8 PSKD Depok; (2) Mengidentifikasi dan menguraikan nilai-nilai moral yang ditanamkan melalui pendidikan Agama Kristen kepada siswa.; dan (3) Menganalisis peran pendidikan Agama Kristen dalam membentuk fondasi moral siswa kelas 4 dan 5. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian terdiri dari 17 orang: 1 Kepala Sekolah, 1 Guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen, 2 orang tua siswa, dan 13 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pendidikan Agama Kristen memiliki peran signifikan dalam membentuk moral siswa secara kognitif dan afektif, serta mendukung kemampuan pengambilan keputusan moral berdasarkan nilai-nilai Kristiani. Proses pembelajaran dilakukan secara interaktif dan kreatif, didukung oleh program sekolah seperti ibadah rutin dan kegiatan sosial. Guru dan orang tua berperan penting sebagai teladan dan pembimbing nilai-nilai moral dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Namun, tantangan signifikan yang dihadapi meliputi pengaruh negatif lingkungan sosial, perubahan pola pikir akibat perkembangan zaman, serta akses mudah terhadap konten negatif melalui teknologi digital. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan kolaborasi antara sekolah dan keluarga, serta penguatan kontrol dan literasi digital untuk mendukung pembentukan karakter moral yang kokoh pada siswa. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Agama Kristen, Fondasi Moral Anak, Pendidikan Karakter / This thesis explores Christian Religious Education as a moral foundation for 4th and 5th grade students at SD Kwitang 8 PSKD. The objectives of this study are: (1) to describe the implementation of Christian Religious Education in grades 4 and 5; (2) to identify and explain the moral values imparted through Christian Religious Education; and (3) to analyze the role of Christian Religious Education in shaping students’ moral foundation. This qualitative research employed observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection methods. The participants consisted of 17 individuals: 1 principal, 1 Christian Religious Education teacher, 2 parents, and 13 students. The findings reveal that Christian Religious Education plays a significant role in shaping students' morality both cognitively and affectively, enhancing their ability to make moral decisions based on Christian values. The learning process is interactive and creative, supported by school programs such as regular worship and social activities. Teachers and parents serve as key role models and moral guides in students' daily lives. However, challenges such as negative social influences, shifts in mindset due to modernization, and easy access to inappropriate digital content remain significant. This study recommends stronger collaboration between schools and families, as well as increased digital literacy and supervision to support the development of students’ moral character.
