Abstract

Dokumenter ekspositori “Cegah Stunting Bersama AISA” merupakan karya audiovisual yang mengangkat isu pencegahan stunting melalui kegiatan pendampingan yang dilakukan oleh Program Anak Indonesia Sehat (AISA). Karya ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kecenderungan penyampaian informasi stunting yang lebih banyak berfokus pada data dan penjelasan informatif sehingga kurang membangun keterlibatan emosional masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, penulis menerapkan alur naratif visual emosional sebagai pendekatan utama dalam penyutradaraan dokumenter. Tujuan penciptaan karya ini adalah menghasilkan dokumenter ekspositori yang mampu menyampaikan informasi mengenai pencegahan stunting sekaligus membangun keterlibatan emosional penonton. Dalam proses penciptaannya, penulis berperan sebagai sutradara yang bertanggung jawab terhadap perancangan konsep, penyusunan struktur cerita, pengarahan visual, pelaksanaan produksi, hingga pengawasan pascaproduksi. Dokumenter disusun melalui wawancara narasumber, footage observasional, dan visual kegiatan Program AISA. Penerapan alur naratif visual emosional dilakukan melalui penyusunan cerita yang dimulai dari pengenalan isu stunting, pengalaman tokoh utama, kegiatan pendampingan Program AISA, hingga dampak yang dirasakan oleh peserta program. Pendekatan visual storytelling diterapkan melalui penggunaan variasi ukuran gambar, footage observasional, serta penyuntingan yang mendukung perkembangan cerita. Hasil penciptaan menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan tersebut mampu membantu penyampaian informasi mengenai stunting secara lebih terstruktur, informatif, dan dekat dengan kehidupan masyarakat. Kata Kunci: dokumenter ekspositori, penyutradaraan, alur naratif visual emosional, visual storytelling, stunting./The expository documentary “Preventing Stunting with AISA” is an audiovisual work that highlights the issue of stunting prevention through assistance programs conducted by the Anak Indonesia Sehat (AISA) Program. This work was motivated by the tendency of stunting-related information to be delivered primarily through data and informative explanations, which often lack emotional engagement with the audience. Therefore, the director applied an emotional visual narrative approach as the main directing strategy in the documentary. The purpose of this creative work is to produce an expository documentary that not only provides information about stunting prevention but also fosters emotional engagement among viewers. In the production process, the creator served as the director, responsible for concept development, story structure design, visual direction, production implementation, and post-production supervision. The documentary was developed through interviews, observational footage, and visual documentation of AISA Program activities. The emotional visual narrative approach was implemented through a story structure that begins with an introduction to the issue of stunting, followed by the experiences of the main subjects, the assistance activities carried out by the AISA Program, and the impact experienced by the program participants. Visual storytelling was applied through the use of various shot sizes, observational footage, and editing techniques that support the progression of the story. The result shows that this approach helps deliver information about stunting in a more structured, informative, and relatable manner for the audience.
