Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh konektivitas ruang dan konektivitas waktu terhadap tingkat walkability di kawasan pendidikan yang padat aktivitas, dengan mengambil studi kasus di sepanjang Jalan Ir. H. Juanda, akses utama menuju UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Meskipun secara umum tingkat walkability di koridor ini dinilai BAIK (74,35%), terdapat ambiguitas antara ketersediaan infrastruktur fisik dan realitas penggunaan harian, terutama akibat hambatan fisik seperti pedagang kaki lima (PKL), parkir liar, dan diskontinuitas jalur pedestrian. Penelitian menggunakan metode kombinasi (mixed-methods), di mana metode kuantitatif digunakan untuk mengukur hubungan antar variabel melalui regresi linier berganda, sementara metode kualitatif digunakan untuk memperdalam pemahaman fenomena spasial melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa konektivitas ruang dan konektivitas waktu secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat walkability sebesar 80,5%, dengan konektivitas ruang sebagai variabel yang paling dominan. Temuan penelitian menegaskan bahwa persoalan walkability di kawasan ini bersifat sosio-teknis; di mana perbaikan fisik saja tidak cukup tanpa penegakan manajerial dan kebijakan yang tegas. Sebagai solusi, penelitian ini merekomendasikan pendekatan desain adaptif-dinamis, yang meliputi rekonstruksi trotoar agar lebih kontinu dan inklusif, serta reposisi Jembatan Penyeberangan Orang (JPO) agar lebih dekat dengan pusat simpul aktivitas (desire line) civitas akademika untuk meningkatkan efisiensi waktu tempuh. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi strategis dalam pengembangan kawasan pendidikan yang berkelanjutan, aman, dan berorientasi pada pejalan kaki. Juanda. / This study analyzes the influence of spatial connectivity and temporal connectivity on walkability levels in high-activity educational areas, focusing on the Ir. H. Juanda Street corridor, which serves as the main access to UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Although the overall walkability of this corridor is categorized as GOOD (74.35%), there is a clear ambiguity between the availability of physical infrastructure and daily usage realities, primarily due to physical obstacles such as street vendors (PKL), illegal parking, and fragmented pedestrian pathways. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, utilizing quantitative methods to measure the relationship between variables through multiple linear regression, while qualitative methods are used to deepen the understanding of spatial phenomena through observations and interviews. The analysis reveals that spatial and temporal connectivity simultaneously have a significant impact on walkability levels, contributing to 80.5% of the total variance, with spatial connectivity serving as the dominant variable. The findings confirm that walkability issues in this area are socio-technical in nature; meaning that physical improvements alone are insufficient without strict managerial enforcement and policy interventions. As a solution, this research proposes an adaptive-dynamic design approach, which includes the reconstruction of continuous and inclusive sidewalks, as well as the repositioning of the Pedestrian Bridge (JPO) to align with the students' primary activity nodes (desire lines) to improve temporal efficiency. The results of this study are expected to serve as a strategic reference for developing sustainable, safe, and pedestrian-oriented educational areas.
