Abstract
Pendahuluan: Demam tifoid merupakan penyakit infeksi saluran pencernaan yang masih menjadi masalah kesehatan utama di Indonesia, khususnya pada anak-anak usia prasekolah. Dalam rentang usia ini sangat rentan mengalami ansietas selama menjalani hospitalisasi. Ansietas yang tidak ditangani dapat memperburuk kondisi fisik maupun psikologis anak selama perawatan. Tujuan: Untuk melakukan asuhan keperawatan pada anak demam tifoid dengan terapi bermain puzzle di RSUD Budhi asih jakarta. Metode: menggunakan studi kasus deskriptif dengan pendekatan proses keperawatan melalui metode wawancara, observasi, dan pemeriksaan fisik. Studi kasus ini dilakukan pada pasien demam tifoid dengan masalah ansietas Hasil: Hasil studi kasus menunjukkan bahwa setelah dilakukan terapi bermain puzzle selama 3 hari berturut-turut masalah keperawatan ansietas pada dua pasien pada hari ketiga. Dari studi kasus ini terdapat penurunan kecemasan saat melakukan tindakan terapi bermain puzzle terhadap ansietas pada pasien di RSUD Budi Asih Jakarta. yang dirawat dengan diagnosa demam tifoid dan mengalami ansietas. Intervensi berupa terapi bermain puzzle diberikan selama tiga hari berturut-turut, masing-masing selama 15 menit, sebelum dilakukan terapi bermain puzzle tingkat kecemasan pasien berada di FIS 4 (kecemasan sedang), dan setelah dilakukan terapi bermain puzzle mengalami penurunan kecemasan menjadi FIS 2 (tidak cemas). Tingkat kecemasan diukur menggunakan Face Image Scale (FIS) sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Kesimpulan: Hasil studi kasus menunjukkan adanya penurunan tingkat kecemasan pada kedua anak setelah diberikan terapi bermain puzzle. Skor kecemasan menurun dari kategori sedang menjadi ringan. Terapi bermain puzzle terbukti efektif sebagai salah satu intervensi keperawatan untuk mengurangi ansietas pada anak usia prasekolah dengan demam tifoid yang menjalani perawatan di rumah sakit Budi Asih Jakarta Timur. Introduction: Typhoid fever is an infectious disease of the digestive tract that remains a major health issue in Indonesia, especially among preschool children aged 3-6 years. During this age range, they are very vulnerable to experiencing anxiety during hospitalization due to the unfamiliar hospital environment, frightening medical procedures, and separation from parents. Unmanaged anxiety can worsen both the physical and psychological condition of the child during treatment. Objective: to provide nursing care for preschool-aged children, this case study aims to determine the effectiveness of puzzle play therapy in controlling anxiety in preschool children with typhoid fever who are being treated at the Budhi Asih Regional General Hospital in East Jakarta. The specific objectives include the ability to conduct assessments, establish diagnoses, develop interventions, implement them, and evaluate nursing care for children with anxiety issues using puzzle play therapy. Method: utilizing a case study. This case study was conducted on typhoid fever patients with anxiety issues. Results: The results of the case study indicate that after puzzle play therapy was conducted, nursing care issues related to anxiety were resolved in both patients by the third day. From this case study, it was found that there is an influence of puzzle play therapy on anxiety in patients at RSUD Budi Asih Jakarta who were admitted with a diagnosis of typhoid fever and experienced anxiety. The intervention, in the form of puzzle play therapy, was provided for three consecutive days, each session lasting 15 minutes. The level of anxiety was measured using the Face Image Scale (FIS) before and after the intervention. The conclusion of the case study shows that there was a decrease in anxiety levels in both children after being given puzzle playing therapy. The anxiety score decreased from the moderate to mild category. Puzzle play therapy has proven to be effective as a bleeding intervention to reduce anxiety in young children with typhoid fever who are undergoing treatment at Budi Asih Hospital, East Jakarta.
