Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dukungan orang tua dan kompetensi sosial guru terhadap prestasi non akademik siswa sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Cibarusah, Jawa Barat. Prestasi non akademik merupakan aspek penting dalam pengembangan holistik siswa yang meliputi bidang olahraga, seni, dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler lainnya. Penelitian ini melibatkan sampel sebanyak 86 guru sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Cibarusah yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel tertentu. Data dikumpulkan melalui instrumen angket yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya pada 21 responden ujicoba. Seluruh indikator variabel diukur menggunakan skala Likert untuk memperoleh data kuantitatif. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode regresi linier berganda untuk menguji pengaruh variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan dukungan orang tua dan kompetensi sosial guru berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi non akademik siswa dengan nilai signifikansi F = 0,003 (p < 0,05). Uji t menunjukkan bahwa masing-masing variabel, yaitu dukungan orang tua dan kompetensi sosial guru, memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan secara parsial terhadap prestasi non akademik siswa dengan nilai signifikansi di bawah 0,05. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,733 menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel independen menjelaskan 73,3% variansi dalam prestasi non akademik siswa, sedangkan 26,7% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain di luar model penelitian. Dengan demikian, dukungan orang tua dan kompetensi sosial guru memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan prestasi non akademik siswa sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci: Dukungan Orang Tua, Kompetensi Sosial Guru, Prestasi Non Akademik / This study aims to analyze the influence of parental support and teacher social competence on the non academic achievement of elementary school students in Cibarusah District, West Java. Non-academic achievement is a crucial aspect of students' holistic development, encompassing sports, arts, and other extracurricular activities. This study involved a sample of 86 elementary school teacher in Cibarusah District, selected using a specific sampling technique. Data were collected through a questionnaire instrument that had been tested for validity and reliability with 21 pilot respondents. All variable indicators were measured using a Likert scale to obtain quantitative data. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression to test the effect of the independent variables on the dependent variable. The results showed that parental support and teacher social competence simultaneously had a significant effect on students' non-academic achievement with a significance value of F = 0.003 (p < 0.05). A t-test indicated that each variable, namely parental support and teacher social competence, had a partial significant effect on students' non academic achievement with a significance value below 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.733 indicates that the two independent variables explain 73.3% of the variance in students' non academic achievement, while the remaining 26.7% is influenced by other factors outside the research model. Thus, parental support and teachers' social competence play an important role in improving elementary school students' non-academic achievement.
