Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Media Animasi Menggunakan Aplikasi Kinemaster Dengan Pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education Dalam Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Siswa Pada Soal Cerita Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan media animasi yang telah divalidasi oleh validator dengan rata-rata validasi materi dari 2 validator sebesar 4,40 yang termasuk dalam kategori Sangat Valid, rata-rata validasi media dari 2 validator sebesar 4,46 yang juga masuk dalam kategori Sangat Valid, serta rata-rata validasi bahasa dari 2 validator sebesar 4,55 yang dikategorikan Sangat Valid. Setelah media animasi dinyatakan valid, implementasi dan uji efektivitas dilakukan dengan perolehan nilai n-gain pada setiap indikator sebagai berikut: durasi belajar sebesar 0,5915 (kategori peningkatan sedang), hasrat dan keinginan untuk berhasil sebesar 0,6680 (kategori peningkatan sedang), ulet dalam menghadapi tugas sebesar 0,7000 (kategori peningkatan sedang), serta adanya kegiatan menarik dalam belajar sebesar 0,7263 (kategori peningkatan tinggi). Rata-rata n-gain keseluruhan adalah 0,6810, yang termasuk dalam kategori peningkatan sedang. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media animasi pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education pada soal cerita SPLDV mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dengan kategori peningkatan sedang. Kata Kunci: Media Animasi, Peningkatan, Motivasi / This study aims to develop animated media using the Kinemaster application with a Realistic Mathematics Education approach to enhance students' learning motivation in solving word problems on Systems of Linear Equations in Two Variables (SPLDV). The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. The study resulted in an animated learning media that was validated by experts, obtaining an average material validation score of 4.40 from two validators, categorized as Highly Valid. The average media validation score from two validators was 4.46, also categorized as Highly Valid, while the average language validation score was 4.55, also classified as Highly Valid. After being validated, the animated media was implemented and tested for effectiveness, with the n-gain score for each indicator as follows: learning duration at 0.5915 (moderate improvement category), desire and aspiration to succeed at 0.6680 (moderate improvement category), perseverance in completing tasks at 0.7000 (moderate improvement category), and engaging learning activities at 0.7263 (high improvement category). The overall average n-gain score was 0.6810, classified as a moderate improvement. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the animated learning media based on the Realistic Mathematics Education approach in SPLDV word problems can enhance students' learning motivation at a moderate improvement level.
