Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan profesionalisme guru dalam penerapan teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI) serta dampaknya terhadap peningkatan mutu pembelajaran di SMP St. Bellarminus Bekasi. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi kelas, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berperan penting dalam mengarahkan dan memotivasi guru untuk beradaptasi dengan perubahan teknologi melalui gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, partisipatif, dan instruksional. Kepala sekolah menjadi penggerak utama dalam menciptakan budaya inovatif dan kolaboratif di sekolah. Profesionalisme guru juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keberhasilan penerapan AI; guru yang memiliki literasi digital tinggi dan kemauan berinovasi mampu memanfaatkan AI untuk pembelajaran yang lebih adaptif dan kontekstual. Namun, penerapan AI masih menghadapi kendala berupa ketimpangan kemampuan digital antar guru, keterbatasan pelatihan berkelanjutan, dan sarana teknologi yang belum optimal. Sinergi antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan profesionalisme guru terbukti menjadi faktor kunci dalam mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan AI untuk meningkatkan partisipasi, motivasi, dan prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pengembangan kompetensi digital dan kepemimpinan pembelajaran di era kecerdasan buatan guna mewujudkan pendidikan yang inovatif dan berkelanjutan. Kata kunci: Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah, Profesionalisme Guru, Artificial Intelligence (AI) / This study aims to analyze the role of school principal leadership and teacher professionalism in the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology and its impact on improving the quality of learning at SMP St. Bellarminus Bekasi. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and documentation, and were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the principal’s leadership plays a crucial role in guiding and motivating teachers to adapt to technological changes through transformational, participative, and instructional leadership styles. The principal acts as the main driver in creating an innovative and collaborative school culture. Teacher professionalism also has a significant influence on the successful implementation of AI; teachers with high digital literacy and an innovative mindset are able to utilize AI for more adaptive and contextual learning. However, the implementation of AI still faces challenges such as disparities in digital competence among teachers, limited continuous training, and suboptimal technological infrastructure. The synergy between the principal’s leadership and teacher professionalism proves to be a key factor in optimizing the use of AI to enhance student engagement, motivation, and academic achievement. This study emphasizes the importance of developing digital competence and instructional leadership in the era of artificial intelligence to realize innovative and sustainable education.
