Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia Universitas Kristen Indonesia terhadap kinerja karyawan Universitas Kristen Indonesia. Dalam menghadapi tantangan persaingan dan tuntutan peningkatan kualitas layanan pendidikan tinggi, Universitas Kristen Indonesia dituntut untuk memiliki karyawan yang kompeten, profesional dan adaptif terhadap perubahan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi linear berganda, melibatkan karyawan Universitas Kristen Indonesia sebagai responden. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang dirancang untuk mengukur tingkat Pelatihan, Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia, dan Kinerja Karyawan Universitas Kristen Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Pelatihan dan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Universitas Kristen Indonesia. Pelatihan mempunyai pengaruh signifikan sebesar 76,2% terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Universitas Kristen Indonesia dan 23,8% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang berada diluar dari variabel. Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia mempunyai pengaruh signifikan sebesar 63% terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Universitas Kristen Indonesia dan 37% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang berada diluar dari variabel. Pelatihan dan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia mempunyai pengaruh signifikan sebesar 77,7% terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Universitas Kristen Indonesia dan 22,3% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang berada diluar dari variabel. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi penting pihak manajemen Universitas Kristen Indonesia diharapkan dapat terus memperkuat program pelatihan dan pengembangan secara terencana dan berkesinambungan agar kinerja karyawan semakin optimal dan daya saing institusi semakin kuat./This study aims to determine the effect of training and human resource development at the Universitas Kristen Indonesia (UKI) on employee performance. In facing the challenges of competition and the demands for improving the quality of higher education services, the Universitas Kristen Indonesia is required to have competent, professional, and adaptive employees who can effectively respond to change. The research method used is quantitative, employing multiple linear regression analysis techniques and involving the employees of the Universitas Kristen Indonesia as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires designed to measure the levels of Training, Human Resource Development, and Employee Performance at the Universitas Kristen Indonesia. The results of the study indicate a significant relationship between Training and Human Resource Development and Employee Performance at the Universitas Kristen Indonesia. Training has a significant influence of 76.2% on Employee Performance, while the remaining 23.8% is influenced by other factors outside the variables. Human Resource Development has a significant influence of 63% on Employee Performance, with 37% influenced by other external factors. Meanwhile, Training and Human Resource Development together have a significant influence of 77.7% on Employee Performance, while 22.3% is influenced by factors outside the variables. This study provides important implications for the management of the Universitas Kristen Indonesia, suggesting that training and development programs should be continuously strengthened and implemented in a planned and sustainable manner to further optimize employee performance and enhance the institution’s competitiveness.
