Abstract
ABSTRAK Sekolah Minggu memiliki peran strategis dalam mendidik anak-anak gereja dengan nilai-nilai Kristen. Kurikulum sekolah minggu menjadi pedoman utama dalam menyampaikan ajaran Kristen secara terstruktur dan relevan. Kurikulum yang telah diterapkan selama empat tahun terakhir belum pernah dievaluasi secara menyeluruh, sehingga penelitian ini berfokus untuk mengidentifikasi kekuatan dan kelemahan kurikulum yang ada serta memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan. Oleh karena itu, evaluasi menyeluruh diperlukan untuk memastikan kurikulum mampu memenuhi kebutuhan anak-anak dan mendukung perkembangan pendidikan di sekolah minggu.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dan memberikan rekomendasi pengembangan kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK) di sekolah minggu Gereja Kristen Protestan Indonesia (GKPI) Dame Dr. IL Nomensen Saitnihuta menggunakan model evaluasi CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product). Evaluasi kurikulum dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum sekolah minggu belum sempurna. Beberapa aspek perlu ditingkatkan, seperti perbaikan dalam tujuan pembelajaran yang lebih komprehensif, serta peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia dan fasilitas yang mendukung pelaksanaan kurikulum yang lebih efektif dan relevan dengan kebutuhan anak-anak zaman sekarang. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan gereja untuk lebih aktif dalam memfasilitasi pelatihan guru, menyusun tujuan pembelajaran yang holistik, dan memastikan ketersediaan fasilitas pendukung. Dengan langkah ini, kurikulum dapat dioptimalkan untuk menjawab kebutuhan pembelajaran di sekolah minggu. Kata kunci: Kurikulum sekolah minggu, Pendidikan Agama Kristen, Model Evealuasi CIPP / ABSTRACT Sunday School has a strategic role in educating church children with Christian values. The Sunday school curriculum is the main guideline in delivering Christian teachings in a structured and relevant manner. The curriculum that has been implemented for the past four years has never been evaluated comprehensively, so this study focuses on identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the existing curriculum and providing recommendations for improvement. Therefore, a comprehensive evaluation is needed to ensure that the curriculum is able to meet the needs of children and support the development of education in Sunday schools. This study aims to evaluate and provide recommendations for the development of the Christian Religious Education (PAK) curriculum at the Sunday school of the Indonesian Protestant Christian Church (GKPI) Dame Dr. IL Nomensen Saitnihuta using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. Curriculum evaluation was carried out using a qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations and documents. The results of the study indicate that the Sunday school curriculum is not perfect. Several aspects need to be improved, such as improvements in more comprehensive learning objectives, as well as improving the quality of human resources and facilities that support the implementation of a curriculum that is more effective and relevant to the needs of today's children. This study recommends that the church be more active in facilitating teacher training, preparing holistic learning objectives, and ensuring the availability of supporting facilities. With this step, the curriculum can be optimized to meet the learning needs in Sunday schools. Keywords: Sunday school curriculum, Christian Religious Education, CIPP evaluation model
