Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengkaji bagaimana tingkat kecerdasan emosional dan disiplin kerja karyawan PT. Yongjin Javasuka Garment Factory II Divisi Produksi Sukabumi mempengaruhi produktivitas mereka dalam bekerja. Metode deskriptif kuantitatif kausal digunakan dalam penyelidikan ini. Prosedur seleksi acak sederhana digunakan untuk memilih karyawan untuk berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda setelah diperoleh kuesioner berskala likert. Nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 menunjukkan bahwa disiplin kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan baik. Terdapat hubungan yang menguntungkan dan signifikan secara statistik antara kecerdasan emosional dan kinerja karyawan (p0,000). Pengaruh gabungan kedua faktor independen terhadap kinerja karyawan signifikan secara statistik (p0,000) berdasarkan uji F secara simultan. Disiplin kerja dan kecerdasan emosional menjelaskan 75,7% variasi kinerja karyawan, dan sisanya 24,3% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain (koefisien determinasi, R² = 0,757). Temuan dari penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya mengembangkan kecerdasan emosional dan disiplin kerja karyawan sebagai faktor kunci dalam meningkatkan produktivitas kerja. Oleh karena itu, untuk meningkatkan produktivitas, organisasi harus melaksanakan program untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional dan menumbuhkan budaya disiplin kerja. Kata Kunci: Disiplin Kerja, Kecerdasan Emosional, Kinerja Karyawan / The purpose of this research is to examine how PT. Yongjin Javasuka Garment Factory II Sukabumi'sProduction Division employees' levels of emotional intelligence and work discipline affect their productivity on the job. A causal quantitative descriptive method is utilized in this investigation. A simple random selection procedure was used to select employees to participate in the study. The data was analyzed using multiple linear regression after being acquired by a Likert-scale questionnaire. A significance score of 0.007 indicates that work discipline significantly impacts employee performance in a good way. There is a favorable and statistically significant relationship between emotional intelligence and employee performance (p0.000). The combined effect of the two independent factors on employee performance is statistically significant (p0.000) according to the simultaneous F-test. Work discipline and emotional intelligence explain 75.7% of the variation in employee performance, with other factors influencing the remaining 24.3% (coefficient of determination, R² = 0.757). Findings from this study highlight the importance of developing employees' emotional intelligence and work discipline as key factors in raising productivity on the job. Consequently, in order to increase productivity, the organization should implement programs to enhance emotional intelligence and foster a culture of work discipline. Keywords: Work Discipline, Emotional Intelligence, Employee Performance
