Abstract

Bimbingan kelompok merupakan salah satu pendekatan dalam layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang bertujuan untuk membantu peserta didik mengatasi berbagai permasalahan, termasuk rendahnya motivasi belajar. Rendahnya motivasi belajar peserta didik dapat berdampak negatif terhadap pencapaian akademik. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan mengetahui bimbingan kelompok di SDN Cakung Timur 09 bermanfaat dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajarpeserta didik. Kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol merupakan bagian dari metodologi penelitian kuantitatif, kuasi-eksperimen. Purposive sampling digunakan untuk memilih sampel dari 317 peserta didik kelas V dan VI yang menjadi populasi penelitian. Sebanyak 34 peserta didik dipilih berdasarkan hasil dari proses seleksi, dan dibagi menjadi dua kelompok masing-masing kelompok 17 anggota kelompok. Uji-t independent sample dan paired sample digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Motivasi belajar kelompok eksperimen meningkat, berdasarkan hasil uji paired sample, dengan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,05). Dengan nilai signifikansi 0,008 (p < 0,05), hasil uji-t independent sample juga menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Peserta didik pada kelompok eksperimen lebih termotivasi untuk belajar dibandingkan dengan peserta didik pada kelompok kontrol, yang terlihat dari perbedaan rata-rata motivasi belajar antara kedua kelompok tersebut sebesar 11,765. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa bimbingan kelompok efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, layanan bimbingan kelompok dapat diimplementasikan secara lebih luas sebagai strategi intervensi untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik di lingkungan sekolah dasar./ Group guidance is one of the approaches in guidance and counseling services that aims to help students overcome various problems, including low learning motivation. Low motivation to learn can have a negative impact on academic achievement. The purpose of this study is to determine whether group guidance at SDN Cakung Timur 09 is useful in increasing students' learning motivation. Experimental and control groups are part of the quantitative, quasi-experimental research methodology. Purposive sampling was used to select a sample of 317 learners in grades V and VI in the study population. A total of 34 learners were selected based on the results of the selection process, and they were divided into two groups: 17 learners in the experimental group and 17 learners in the control group. Independent sample and paired sample t-tests were used to analyze the data. The learning motivation of the experimental group increased, based on the results of the paired sample test, with a significant value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). With a significance value of 0.008 (p < 0.05), the independent sample t-test results also showed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups. Students in the experimental group were more motivated to learn compared to students in the control group, which can be seen from the average difference in learning motivation between the two groups of 11.765. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that group guidance is effective in increasing students' learning motivation. Therefore, group guidance services can be implemented more widely as an intervention strategy to increase students' learning motivation in the elementary school environment.
