Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tiga tujuan utama, yaitu: (1) menganalisis sejauh mana minat belajar (X₁) memengaruhi hasil belajar matematika (Y) pada peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Cigombong, (2) mengevaluasi pengaruh keaktifan belajar (X₂) terhadap hasil belajar matematika (Y), serta (3) menelaah kontribusi simultan antara minat belajar dan keaktifan belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika pada kelompok siswa yang sama. Studi ini termasuk dalam kategori penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Cigombong yang berjumlah 440 orang, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 110 siswa yang dipilih secara proporsional. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen angket untuk mengukur tingkat minat dan keaktifan belajar, serta tes untuk menilai capaian hasil belajar matematika. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis melalui teknik regresi linear berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa: (1) minat belajar memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika, sebagaimana ditunjukkan oleh nilai thitung sebesar 8,881 yang lebih besar dari ttabel 1,6588 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (< 0,05); (2) keaktifan belajar juga memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika, dengan nilai thitung sebesar 7,648 > ttabel 1,6588 dan signifikansi 0,000 (< 0,05); serta (3) secara simultan, minat dan keaktifan belajar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika, terlihat dari nilai Fhitung sebesar 110,82 yang melebihi Ftabel 3,08 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (< 0,05). Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara minat dan keaktifan belajar dengan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Cigombong. Kata Kunci: Minat Belajar, Keaktifan Siswa, Hasil Belajar Matematika / This study aims to achieve three main objectives: (1) to examine the influence of learning interest (X₁) on mathematics learning outcomes (Y) among eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Cigombong, (2) to assess the effect of learning activeness (X₂) on students’ mathematics achievement, and (3) to analyze the combined influence of both learning interest and learning activeness on mathematics performance. This research employs a descriptive-correlational method. The population includes all eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Cigombong, totaling 440 individuals, from which a sample of 110 students was selected. Data collection techniques involve the use of questionnaires to measure students' levels of interest and activeness in learning, and tests to evaluate their academic performance in mathematics. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques. The findings indicate that: (1) learning interest significantly and positively affects mathematics learning outcomes, as evidenced by a tvalue of 8.881, which exceeds the critical ttable value of 1.6588, with a significance level of 0.000 (< 0.05); (2) learning activeness also has a significant positive effect, with a t-value of 7.648 > 1.6588 and a significance level of 0.000 (< 0.05); and (3) jointly, learning interest and activeness contribute significantly to mathematics achievement, as shown by an Fvalue of 110.82, which is greater than the Ftable value of 3.08, and a significance level of 0.000 (< 0.05). Based on these results, it can be concluded that both learning interest and activeness have a statistically significant influence on the mathematics learning outcomes of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Cigombong.
