Abstract
Rendahnya disiplin kerja menyebabkan performa pegawai Satpol PP Kota Jayapura pada tahun 2023 berada di bawah harapan. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni untuk mengevaluasi dampak kompetensi dan disiplin kerja kepada performa pegawai di Kantor/Dinas Satpol PP Kota Jayapura. Penelitian ini memakai pendekatan ex-post facto. Penelitian ini memakai teknik kuantitatif dan bersifat asosiatif kausal. Populasi penelitian Seluruh pegawai di Kantor/Dinas Satpol PP Kota Jayapura khususnya aparatur pemerintah menjadi peserta survei ini. Seluruh populasi dipakai selaku sampel karena jumlah populasi kurang dari 100 orang. Dalam penelitian ini, metode pengumpulan data yang dipakai yakni kuesioner, wawancara, dan observasi. Metode analisis data yang dipakai yakni analisis regresi linier berganda dengan memakai perangkat lunak SPSS24. Kompetensi secara signifikan mengembangkan performa pegawai Satpol-PP Kota Jayapura berlandaskan hasil penelitian (β = 0,349, p = 0,002, t hitung = 3,230 > t tabel = 2,004). Selanjutnya, disiplin kerja secara signifikan mengembangkan performa pegawai (β = 0,327, p = 0,008, t hitung = 2,747 > t tabel = 2,004), dan disiplin kerja dan kompetensi secara bersama-sama mengembangkan performa pegawai (F hitung = 21,443, Sig. F = 0,008 < α = 0,05), dengan sumbangan (R2) sejumlah 56,3%. Dengan demikian, pada Kantor Satpol-PP Kota Jayapura dapat dikatakan bahwa disiplin kerja dan kompetensi berdampak secara simultan dan substansial kepada performa pegawai. Kata kunci: Disiplin kerja, kompetensi, performa pegawai / In 2023, Satpol-PP Kota Jayapura's staff performed below expectations, mostly as a result of poor work habits. The purpose of this study is to investigate how em-ployee performance at the Satpol-PP office in Kota Jayapura is impacted by com-petence and work discipline. The study employs an ex post facto methodology and takes a quantitative, causal associative approach. All workers in the Satpol-PP of-fice in Kota Jayapura, especially public servants, make up the study's population. The entire population was chosen as the sample since there were less than 100 people in the population. Questionnaires, interviews, and observation were among the methods used to collect data. Multiple linear regression analysis, aided by SPSS24 software, was the data analysis method used. The findings show that in Kota Jayapura, competency considerably improves Satpol-PP employees' perfor-mance (β = 0.349, p = 0.002, t = 3.230 > t-table = 2.004). Employee performance is also considerably improved by work discipline (β = 0.327, p = 0.008, t = 2.747 > t-table = 2.004). Last but not least, competence and work discipline jointly con-tribute 56.3% (R2) to employee performance, which is considerably improved (F = 21.443, Sig. F = 0.008 < α = 0.05). It may be concluded that employee perfor-mance at the Satpol-PP office in Kota Jayapura is considerably impacted by both competence and work discipline at the same time..
