Abstract
Performance is basically the result of work achieved by someone in carrying out their duties (jobdesc). Employee performance can decline due to several causes, including lack of employee work discipline and a work environment that does not support both physical and non-physical. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of the work environment on employee performance which is moderated by work discipline at the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic Keywords: Work Environment, Work Discipline, Employee Performance of Indonesia, HRO Bureau. The method used is quantitative. The sampling technique used saturated sampling and a sample of 100 respondents was obtained. This research uses three variables, namely, the independent variable is Work Environment (X1) with the dependent variable being Employee Performance (Y) and the moderating variable is Work Discipline (Z). Data analysis uses validity testing, reliability testing and hypothesis testing. In the validity test, convergent validity is used from the outer loading results and AVE values, for the reliability test, Composite Reliability, Cronbach's Alpha, and rho_A are used. To test the hypothesis in this research, the researcher used the t test and carried out a determination test and conducted a moderation test. The results of this research show that the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance as indicated by the original sample value of 0.566, with tcount (6.430) > ttable (1.96) with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05. Then work discipline has a positive and significant effect with an original sample value of 0.397, with tcount (4.405) > ttable (1.96) with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05. Furthermore, work discipline has no positive and insignificant effect and can weaken the work environment with an original sample value of -0.016, with a value of tcount (1.069) > ttable (1.96). This shows that the influence of the work environment on employee performance is not moderated by work discipline.
