Abstract

Kata kunci : aktivitas antibakteri, susu kambing etawa, Escherichia coli Benefits of goat's milk include treating asthma, gout, cholesterol, and tuberculosis because goat milk has a Flourin content of 10-100 times greater than cow's milk. Etawa Goat Milk also functions as an Antibacterial. Therefore the authors are interested in conducting research that aims to determine the Antibacterial activity possessed by Etawa Goat Milk on the growth of bacteria that are the cause of human digestive disorders, especially Escherichia coli. This study uses a laboratory experimental method. The study was conducted at the FK UKI Microbiology Laboratory from October to November 2018. The population in this study were all etawa goat milk. The samples taken were etawa goat milk from goat farms in Pondok Rangon and Sukabumi. The results showed that etawa goat milk at a concentration of 60% and 80% had a resistance response to the growth of resistant bacteria, while a 100% concentration had a response to moderate bacterial growth resistance, and positive control had a response to resistance to strong bacterial growth. There was a significant (significant) difference in response to the inhibition of growth of Escherichia coli bacteria between etawa goat milk concentrations of 60%, 80%, 100% and controls indicated by the value of Sig. 0.012 smaller than 0.05. Response to bacterial growth inhibition of positive control treatment was significantly different (significant) with all treatments (concentrations of 60%, 80%, and 100%) as indicated by the Sig. smaller than 0.05. There was no significant difference in response to inhibition of bacterial growth between the treatment of etawa goat milk concentration of 60%, 80%, and 100% as indicated by the value of Sig. greater than 0.05. Key words : The activity of antibacterial, Etawa goat milk, Escherichia coli
