Abstract

Amerika Serikat sebagai negara adidaya mengalami krisis ekonomi dalam potensi kegagalannya membayar utang, menjadi perhatian utama dalam penelitian skripsi ini. Sebagai negara adidaya, Amerika Serikat memiliki peran sentral dalam perkembangan ekonomi dunia. Namun, dalam beberapa periode, Amerika Serikat mengalami krisis ekonomi yang memiliki dampak signifikan, tidak hanya pada perekonomian domestiknya, tetapi juga terhadap perekonomian global, termasuk Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak ekonomi Amerika Serikat terhadap Indonesia, terutama dalam mengeksplorasi respons dan kebijakan yang diregulasikan oleh pemerintah Indonesia dalam menghadapi ketidakpastian perekonomian global, khususnya yang disebabkan oleh krisis di Amerika Serikat. Penelitian ini dikaji menggunakan konsep sistem ekonomi global, teori Keynesian dan konsep krisis ekonomi untuk menjawab penelitian terkait. Peneliti menggunakan sumber data primer berupa wawancara dan data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui buku, literatur, jurnal, laporan yang bertemakan dampak ekonomi Amerika Serikat terhadap perekonomian global dan Indonesia. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa potensi gagal bayar atau default menyebabkan krisis ekonomi bagi perekonomian nasional Amerika Serikat, perekonomian global, dan salah satunya adalah perekonomian Indonesia, terkait menurunnya perdagangan internasional dalam sektor ekspor, dedolarisasi terhadap Dolar Amerika Serikat, dan kenaikan suku bunga Bank Indonesia. Kata Kunci: Gagal Bayar, AS, Krisis Ekonomi, Kebijakan Pemerintah, Indonesia. / The United States as a superpower is experiencing an economic crisis in its potential failure to pay debts, which is the main concern in this thesis research. As a superpower, the United States has a central role in the development of the world economy. However, in some periods, the United States experienced an economic crisis that had a significant impact, not only on its domestic economy but also on the global economy, including Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to uncover the economic impact of the United States on Indonesia, especially by exploring the responses and policies regulated by the Indonesian government in the face of global economic uncertainty, especially those caused by the crisis in the United States. This research is examined using the concepts of the global economic system, Keynesian theory, and economic crisis to answer related research. Researchers used primary data sources in the form of interviews and secondary data obtained through books, literature, journals, and reports themed on the economic impact of the United States on the global economy and Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that the potential of default causes an economic crisis for the US national economy, and the global economy, and one of them is the Indonesian economy, related to decreased international trade in the export sector, de-dollarization against the US Dollar, and increased Bank Indonesia interest rates.
