Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai di Badan Kepegawaian dan Pengembangan SDM (BKPSDM) Kota Depok. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh banyaknya permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan kinerja pegawai. Dengan indikasi, banyak permasalahan yang tidak seimbang. Peneliti menggunakan teori Douglas McGregor untuk menggambarkan tentang motivasi. Peneliti menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian penelitian kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner tertutup kepada 56 responden. Sebelum melakukan analisis, dilakukan uji validitas terhadap seluruh instrumen dan uji reliabilitas. Data yang telah terverifikasi dan reliabel kemudian dianalisis lebih lanjut dengan menggunakan uji korelasi uji t untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara motivasi kerja – kinerja pegawai dan disiplin kerja – kinerja pegawai secara parsial. Sedangkan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai digunakan analisis uji F secara simultan. Dari hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa antara motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai terdapat koefisien korelasi yang tinggi dengan korelasi 0,419. Sedangkan antara disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai terdapat koefisien korelasi dengan korelasi sebesar 0,324. Kata kunci: Motivasi Kerja, Disiplin Kerja, Kinerja Pegawai. / This research aims to determine the influence of work motivation and work discipline on employee performance at the Depok City Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM). This research is motivated by the many problems related to employee performance. According to indications, there are many unbalanced problems. Researchers use Douglas McGregor's theory to describe motivation. Researchers used primary and secondary data. The approach used in this research is quantitative research by distributing closed questionnaires to 56 respondents. Before carrying out the analysis, a validity test was carried out on all instruments and a reliability test was carried out. Data that has been verified and reliable is then analyzed further using the t-test correlation test to determine the influence between work motivation – employee performance and work discipline – partial employee performance. Meanwhile, to determine the effect of work motivation and work discipline on employee performance, simultaneous F test analysis was used. From the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that between work motivation and employee performance there is a high correlation coefficient with a correlation of 0.419. Meanwhile, between work discipline and employee performance, there is a correlation coefficient with a correlation of 0.324. Keywords: Work Motivation, Work Discipline, Employee Performance
