Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu kurangnya kreativitas guru sekolah minggu dalam mengajarkan firman Tuhan kepada anak-anak, anak sekolah minggu merasa bosan ketika guru bercerita tidak menggunakan alat peraga atau kreatif dan mengenai perkembangan spiritualitas anak. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk melihat kreativitas guru sekolah minggu dan perkembangan spiritualitas anak di GKP Jemaat Kampung Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, yang mempunyai maksud untuk memahami tentang apa yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian secara utuh, menyeluruh, dan mendeskripsikan dalam bentuk kata-kata dan bahasa. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah 5 orang guru sekolah minggu dan 5 orang anak sekolah minggu kelas madya. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan adalah guru sekolah minggu mengetahui pentingnya kreativitas dalam mengajar dan mengetahui perkembangan spiritualitas anak adalah hal yang penting. Kreativitas yang ada pada diri guru harus terus kembangkan agar setiap mengajar dapat menciptakan suasana yang menarik dan kreatif. Begitu pula dengan spiritualitas pada anak merupakan hal yang harus diperhatikan dan di kembangkan. melalui pembelajaran yang kreatif menghasilkan rasa ingin tahu anak yang tinggi sehingga anak-anak tidak hanya pasif atau diam selama pembelajaran, melainkan mereka juga ikut berpartisipasi dan berdiskusi dalam pembelajaran. Contohnya seperti, bertanya dan merespon pertanyaan. Kreativitas dalam sekolah minggu menghasilkan spiritualitas anak-anak sekolah minggu berkembang dengan baik, kreativitas guru sekolah minggu dalam mengajarkan Firman Tuhan kepada anak merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi perkembangan spiritualitas anak Perkembangan spiritualitas yang baik pada anak merupakan faktor penting yang harus diperhatikan oleh guru sekolah minggu. Pengajaran yang kreatif akan membuat anak lebih mudah memahami akan Firman Tuhan yang disampaikan. Anak sekolah minggu lebih fokus mendengarkan cerita yang disampaikan guru sekolah minggu. Hal ini dapat dilihat melalui perilaku anak-anak sekolah minggu ketika mendengarkan Firman Tuhan, mereka duduk tertib saat guru sekolah minggu menceritakan Firman Tuhan. / The problem in this research is the lack of creativity of Sunday school teachers in teaching the word of God to children, Sunday school children feel bored when the teacher tells stories without using props or creativity and regarding the development of children's spirituality. This research aims to look at the creativity of Sunday school teachers and the development of children's spirituality at GKP Jemaat Kampung Tengah. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method, which has the aim of understanding what the research subjects experienced completely, comprehensively, and describing it in the form of words and language. The informants in this research were 5 Sunday school teachers and 5 middle class Sunday school children. The research results obtained are that Sunday school teachers know the importance of creativity in teaching and knowing the spiritual development of children is important. Teachers must continue to develop their creativity so that each teaching can create an interesting and creative atmosphere. Likewise, spirituality in children is something that must be paid attention to and developed. Through creative learning, it produces high levels of children's curiosity so that children are not only passive or silent during learning, but they also participate and discuss in learning. For example, asking and responding to questions. Creativity in Sunday school results in the spirituality of Sunday school children developing well. The creativity of Sunday school teachers in teaching the Word of God to children is one of the factors that influence the development of children's spirituality. Good spiritual development in children is an important factor that must be considered by Sunday school teachers. Creative teaching will make it easier for children to understand the Word of God that is conveyed. Sunday school children are more focused on listening to the stories told by the Sunday school teacher. This can be seen through the behavior of Sunday school children when listening to God's Word, they sit orderly when the Sunday school teacher tells God's Word.
