Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka telah menjadi salah satu solusi penting dalam mengatasi krisis pembelajaran atau learning loss yang timbul akibat dampak pandemi COVID-19 yang mengakibatkan terjadinya penurunan hasil belajar. Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka menawarkan berbagai karakteristik unik, seperti penekanan pada materi esensial dan pelaksanaan proyek profil pelajar Pancasila (P5), yang merupakan perbedaan signifikan dibandingkan dengan kurikulum sebelumnya. Fokus pada materi esensial memberikan kesempatan kepada peserta didik untuk memperoleh pembelajaran yang lebih ringkas, terstruktur dan bermakna, sementara pelaksanaan proyek profil pelajar pancasila mendorong peserta didik untuk menjelajahi berbagai disiplin ilmu sehingga menghasilkan proyek dan profil pelajar pancasila yang mencakup sifat-sifat seperti Bertaqwa Kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa serta Berakhlak Mulia, Kreatif, Mandiri, Bernalar Kritis, Bergotong Royong, dan Berkebhinekaan Global. Penelitian ini mengadopsi metode kualitatif deskriptif, dengan melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen dimana pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling yaitu 15 guru di SMP Kristen Ketapang III Cibubur menggunakan kurikulum merdeka dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas. Lokasi dalam Penelitian di SMP Kristen Ketapang III Cibubur. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengeksplorasi sejauh mana Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka telah berhasil dalam upaya pemulihan proses pembelajaran dan persiapan peserta didik menghadapi era Society 5.0. Dari hasil analisis data, reduksi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, ditemukan bahwa implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka secara efektif memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam upaya pemulihan pembelajaran dengan fokus pada materi esensial yaitu mengembalikan kembali hak belajar peserta didik dalam meningkatkan dan mengembangkan kemampuannya dan mempersiapkan peserta didik untuk menghadapi era Society 5.0 dengan peningkatan kompetensi dalam pemanfaatan teknologi pada proses pembelajaran di kelas di SMP Kristen Ketapang III Cibubur. Kata Kunci: Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka, Pemulihan Pembelajaran, Kesiapan Era Society 5.0. / The Independent Curriculum has become one of the crucial solutions in addressing the learning crisis or learning loss that has emerged due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in a decline in learning outcomes. The implementation of the Independent Curriculum offers various unique characteristics, such as emphasis on essential content and the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile (P5) project, which is a significant difference compared to the previous curriculum. The focus on essential content provides students with the opportunity to acquire more concise, structured, and meaningful learning, while the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile project encourages students to explore various disciplines, resulting in projects and Pancasila student profiles that encompass qualities such as devotion to God Almighty and noble character, creativity, independence, critical thinking, cooperation, and global diversity. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative method, involving observation, interviews, and document analysis, with purposive sampling of 15 teachers at SMP Kristen Ketapang III Cibubur using the Independent Curriculum in the classroom learning process. The research location is at SMP Kristen Ketapang III Cibubur. The research objective is to explore the extent to which the implementation of the Independent Curriculum has succeeded in the efforts to recover the learning process and prepare students to face the Society 5.0 era. From the data analysis, data reduction, and conclusion drawing, it was found that the effective implementation of the Independent Curriculum significantly contributes to the efforts of learning recovery with a focus on essential content, restoring students' right to learn in improving and developing their abilities, and preparing students to face the Society 5.0 era with increased competence in utilizing technology in the classroom learning process at SMP Kristen Ketapang III Cibubur.
