Abstract
Self-efficacy encompasses an individual's belief in their capacity to motivate themselves and accomplish specific tasks, encompassing aspects of personality and confidence in utilizing information technology to bolster commitment within the teaching profession. The objectives of this research are: a) to showcase how self-efficacy influences the commitment of educators at Tarakanita Pluit School; and b) to illustrate the impact of digital literacy on the professional commitment of teachers at Tarakanita Pluit School. c) To advance teacher professional commitment through the avenues of self-efficacy and digital literacy at Tarakanita Pluit School. Employing quantitative research methods such as surveys, this study falls within the realm of quantitative survey research, utilizing a questionnaire as the primary tool for data collection. The variables under scrutiny in this study are interconnected: self-efficacy (X1) and digital literacy (X2) are linked to the variable of teacher professional commitment (Y). The outcomes of the study reveal that: a) the research suggests that self-efficacy and digital competence are not the sole determinants influencing a teacher's professional commitment. b) The proportion of self-efficacy is moderate, representing only 31.6% of a teacher's professional commitment, potentially diminishing it if educational institutions fail to cultivate a sense of professional commitment, especially when staff lack self-efficacy in their work. c) Minimal levels of digital literacy, accounting for just 16.4% of teachers' professional involvement, can impede staff performance. As per the study's findings, teacher professional engagement supported by digital literacy contributes positively to the development of teachers' professional commitment.
