Abstract

Peran gereja dalam memberikan suatu solusi atas permasalahan dalam jemaat merupakan suatu bentuk cerminan ajaran yang dituliskan dalam Kitab Suci (Alkitab), penelitian ini fokus pada peran Gereja Kristen Injili Ebenhaezer Yakonde terhadap permasalahan kekerasan dalam rumah tangga. Tulisan ini, menjelaskan beberapa rumusan masalah antara lain; Bagaimana gambaran kekerasan rumah tangga yang terjadi, Kedua bagaimana peran gereja GKI Yakonde dalam permasalahan kekerasan, ketiga bagaimana pengembagan kurikulum PAK. Kekerasan dalam rumah tangga semakin hari marak terjadi dalam kehiduapan masyarakat di Papua, karena berbagai faktor sehingga korban kekerasan tidak mendapatkan kesempatan untuk mencari pertolongan atau pembelaan. Adapun peristiwa yang terjadi dalam jemaat di GKI Yakonde, isu tersebut dianggap tidak terlalu penting bagi korban dan rasa malu terhadap orang lain sehingga korban kekerasan cenderung menutup diri padahal semakin hari semakin menderita karena kekerasan tersebut. Oleh karena itu, citra gereja sebagai suatu umat Allah, Tubuh Kristus memiliki fungsi untuk menyelamatkan umatnya. Peran Gereja Kristen Injili di Yakonde antara lain; menyelenggaraan seminar terkait dengan pengetahuan tentang kekerasan dalam rumah tangga, keluarga binaan, kunjungan pastoral, khotbah,bulan bina keluarga melalui peranan inilah setiap umat dapat membawa pergumulannya untuk diselesaikan dan dapat memperoleh petunjuk. Terdapat juga suatu hal yang penting yaitu penyusunan suatu kurikulum Pendidikan agama Kristen yang dapat memberikan pedoman bagi kelangsungan kehidupan Kristen khususnya di GKI Ebenhaezer Yakonde, kurikulum tersebut yaitu; pendekatan instruksional yang merupakan suatu pola Pendidikan Kristen yang menekankan pada pembelajaran atau suatu reklesi teologi dalam konteks keluarga dengan bermula dari keluarga agar tidak ada Batasan antara pendeta dan korban ataupun jemaat. Dengan demikian kekerasan rumah tangga yang terjadi di GKI Yakonde merupakan kekerasan fisik,verbal yang melibatkan operan gereja secara efektif namun juga harus dilengkapi dengan kurikulum Pendidikan agama Kristen yang dapat memberikan suatu hal baru bagi umat serta memberikan hak perlindungan bagi korban kekerasan dalam rumah tangga. / The role of the church in providing a solution to problems in the congregation is a form of reflection of the teachings written in the Holy Bible (Bible), this research focuses on the role of the Evangelical Christian Church of Ebenhaezer Yakonde on the problem of domestic violence. This paper describes several problem formulations, including; What is the description of domestic violence that occurs, Second, how is the role of the GKI Yakonde church in the problem of violence, third, how is the development of the PAK curriculum. Domestic violence is increasingly happening in people's lives in Papua, due to various factors so that victims of violence do not get the opportunity to seek help or defense. As for the events that occurred in the congregation at GKI Yakonde, these issues were considered not too important for the victims and they were ashamed of others so that victims of violence tended to close themselves off even though they were suffering more and more because of the violence. Therefore, the image of the church as a people of God, the Body of Christ has a function to save its people. The roles of the Evangelical Christian Church in Yakonde include; holding seminars related to knowledge about domestic violence, fostered families, pastoral visits, sermons, month of family development, through this role every community can bring their struggles to be resolved and can obtain guidance. There is also an important thing, namely the preparation of a Christian religious education curriculum that can provide guidelines for the continuity of Christian life, especially in GKI Ebenhaezer Yakonde, the curriculum is; an instructional approach which is a pattern of Christian education that emphasizes learning or a theological reflection in a family context by starting from the family so that there are no boundaries between the pastor and the victim or the congregation. Thus, the domestic violence that occurred in GKI Yakonde is physical, verbal violence that involves effective church operations but must also be equipped with a Christian religious education curriculum that can provide something new for the people and provide protection rights for victims of domestic violence.
