Abstract

Penyakit menular hingga kini sedang menjadi penyakit yang menyita perhatian masyarakat pada berbagai negara salah satunya Indonesia. Menurut Kementerian Kesehatan RI pada tahun 2009, terdapat beberapa penyakit adapun dapat dicegah melalui mencuci tangan dengan sabun. Cuci tangan adalah proses melepaskan kotoran dan debris dari kulit tangan dengan menggunakan sabun dan air. Teknik mencuci tangan dengan sabun memiliki tingkat keberhasian sebesar 80% dalam pencegahan infeksi umum dan 45% dalam pencegahan penyakit yang lebih berat. Mengetahui gambaran tingkat pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan mencuci tangan pada ibu rumah tangga di perumahan Premier Estate 2 Jatiwarna. Penelitian deskriptif dengan desain cross sectional di perumahan Premier Estate 2 Jatiwarna pada, bulan April 2023 yang melibatkan 40 orang responden penelitian melalui perhitungan rumus slovin. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara daring. Semua ibu rumah tangga di perumahan Premier Estate 2 Jatiwarna pada penelitian ini memiliki pengetahuan mencuci tangan dalam kategori baik dengan presentase 100%. Semua ibu rumah tangga di perumahan Premier Estate 2 Jatiwarna pada penelitian ini memiliki sikap mencuci tangan dalam kategori baik dengan presentase 100%. Mayoritas ibu rumah tangga di perumahan Premier Estate 2 Jatiwarna pada penelitian ini memiliki tindakan mencuci tangan dalam kategori baik dengan presentase 85%. Ibu rumah tangga di perumahan Premier Estate 2 Jatiwarna memiliki pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan mencuci tangan dalam kategori baik. Kata Kunci: Cuci tangan; Ibu rumah tangga; Pengetahuan; Sikap; Tindakan; Penyakit. / Infectious diseases are currently becoming a disease that is attracting public attention in various countries, one of which is Indonesia. According to the Indonesian Ministry of Health in 2009, there are several diseases that can be prevented by washing hands with soap. Hand washing is the process of removing dirt and debris from the skin of the hands using soap and water. The technique of washing hands with soap has an 80% success rate in preventing common infections and 45% in preventing more serious diseases. To determine the level of knowledge, attitudes and actions of washing hands among housewives in the Premier Estate 2 Jatiwarna housing complex. Descriptive research with a cross sectional design at the Premier Estate 2 Jatiwarna housing complex in April 2023 involving 40 research respondents using the Slovin formula calculation. Research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires online. All housewives in the Premier Estate 2 Jatiwarna housing complex in this study had knowledge of hand washing in the good category with a percentage of 100%. All housewives in the Premier Estate 2 Jatiwarna housing complex in this study had hand washing attitudes in the good category with a percentage of 100%. The majority of housewives in the Premier Estate 2 Jatiwarna housing complex in this study had hand washing practices in the good category with a percentage of 85%. Housewives in the Premier Estate 2 Jatiwarna housing complex have knowledge, attitudes and actions to wash their hands in the good category.
