Abstract

Memang, perpustakaan memiliki fungsi yang sangat penting dalam memajukan pendidikan selain sebagai sumber bahan bacaan. Membaca buku juga dapat menurunkan tingkat stres sebanyak 68 persen. Di era teknologi abad kita, setiap jenis teknologi telah menyatu dengan keberadaan manusia dan sekarang tidak dapat dipisahkan dari bagian dunia lainnya. Oleh karena itu, untuk mengembangkan dan memberdayakan sumber daya manusia yang berbasis pengetahuan dan mampu bersaing di era global saat ini, perpustakaan juga harus mengambil bagian dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi yang relevan. Perpustakaan berbasis komputer yang sering dikenal dengan perpustakaan digital akhirnya tercipta berkat kemajuan teknologi. Ada banyak dampak dari teknologi, baik yang menguntungkan maupun yang merugikan, seperti kecanduan teknologi. Kata kunci : Digital Library, biophilic. / Indeed, the library has a very important function in advancing education apart from being a source of reading material. Reading books can also reduce stress levels by as much as 68 percent. In the technological era of our century, every kind of technology has become integrated with human existence and is now inseparable from the rest of the world. Therefore, to develop and empower knowledge-based human resources and be able to compete in today's global era, libraries must also take part in integrating relevant technologies. Computer-based libraries which are often known as digital libraries have finally been created thanks to technological advances.
