Abstract

Pelaksanaan pembinaan warga gereja (PWG) di GMIM Getsemani Sumompo menjangkau kaum pemulung. Program pembinaan warga gereja sering dianggap sebagai program yang bersifat rutinitas serta. Dalam rangka pembinaan terhadap pemulung, materi pembinaan tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan jemaat khususnya para pemulung. PWG dijalankan tanpa menggali analisis kebutuhan kaum pemulung. Hal ini menjadi permasalahan mendasar yang dihadapi oleh Gereja dalam program PWG terhadap pemulung sehingga hendak menjadi dasar untuk dievaluasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran gereja dalam pelaksanaan pembinaan warga gereja terhadap pemulung di GMIM Getsemani Sumompo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan sumber data subjek dari penelitian adalah pendeta, pelayan khusus dan pemulung dengan menggunakan instrumen wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan beberapa temuanyaitu PWG terhadap pemulung bersifat rutinitas. Materi yang disampaikan masih bersifat umum. Adanya berbagai hambatan dalam pembinaan warga gereja. Pembinaan warga gereja belum melakukan evaluasi yang sistematis. Kata Kunci : Gereja, PWG, Pemulung. / The implementation of church community development (PWG) at GMIM Getsemani Sumompo reaches scavengers. Church community formation programs are often considered routine and routine programs. In the context of coaching scavengers, the coaching materials are not in accordance with the needs of the congregation, especially the scavengers. PWG was carried out without delving into an analysis of the needs of scavengers. This is a fundamental problem faced by the Church in the PWG program towards scavengers so it will be the basis for evaluation. This research aims to determine the role of the church in implementing church community development towards scavengers at GMIM Getsemani Sumompo. This research uses a qualitative method with the data sources for the research subjects being priests, special servants and scavengers using interview, documentation and observation instruments. Data analysis uses qualitative data analysis techniques. The research results show several findings, namely that PWG towards scavengers is routine. The material presented is still general in nature. There are various obstacles in the formation of church members. The formation of church members has not yet carried out a systematic evaluation. Keywords: Church, PWG, Scavenger
