Abstract

Latar Belakang: Status gizi merupakan gambaran keadaan tubuh yang dipengaruhi oleh keseimbangan asupan pola makan dan pola hidup individu, jika suatu individu tidak memperhatikan hal tersebut maka akan menyebabkan ketidak seimbangan gizi seperti gizi kurang, overweight, obesitas tingkat I, hingga obesitas tingkat II. Ketidak seimbangan gizi ini dapat memicu beberapa penyakit tidak menular, salah satu contohnya adalah Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) yang disebabkan oleh ketidak seimbangan hormone dan banyak dialami oleh wanita dengan asupan gizi yang berlebih. Penelitian mengenai PCOS di Indonesia masih sedikit sehingga harus kita pelajari dan lihat kembali bagaimana gambaran gizi wanita usia produktif yang terdiagnosa PCOS. Metode: menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan retrospektif serta megambil data sebanyak 12 data rekam medis pasien dari Poliklinik Kebidanan dan Kandungan yang telah terdiagnosis PCOS. Hasil: Wanita yang mengalami PCOS lebih banyak terjadi pada rentang umur 33 hingga 39 tahun. PCOS juga cenderung didapati pada wanita dengan hasil Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) obessitas tingkat I. Kata Kunci: Gambaran, Indeks Massa Tubuh, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, Status Gizi, Usia Produktif. / Background: Nutritional status is a picture of the state of the body that is influenced by the balance of dietary intake and individual lifestyle, if an individual does not pay attention to this it will cause nutritional imbalances such as undernutrition, overweight, obesity level I, to obesity level II. This nutritional imbalance can trigger a number of non-communicable diseases, one example is Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) which is caused by a hormonal imbalance and is experienced by many women with excessive nutritional intake. There is still little research on PCOS in Indonesia, so we have to study and look again at the nutritional picture of women of reproductive age who are diagnosed with PCOS. Method: used a descriptive research design with a retrospective approach and collected data from 12 medical records of patients from the Obstetrics and Gynecology Polyclinic who had been diagnosed with PCOS. Results: Women who experience PCOS are more common in the age range of 33 to 39 years. PCOS also tends to be found in women with grade I obesity Body Mass Index (BMI) results.
