Abstract

Hipertensi, atau biasanya disebut sebagai tekanan darah tinggi atau meningkat, adalah kondisi tekanan darah yang berlebihan di mana tekanan sistolik dan/atau diastolik masing-masing ≥140 dan ≥90 mmHg. Jenis kelamin dan usia dianggap paten atau faktor risiko yang tidak dapat diubah untuk hipertensi. Faktor risiko yang tidak dapat dipatenkan atau dapat dimodifikasi termasuk asupan garam yang berlebihan, merokok, alkohol, tidak aktif secara fisik, dan Indeks Massa Tubuh yang lebih tinggi dari biasanya. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran karakteristik penderita hipertensi di Puskesmas Mustika Jaya Bekasi tahun 2021. Dengan jumlah sampel 100 pasien, digunakan pendekatan penelitian observasional deskriptif untuk mengkarakterisasi gambaran hipertensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelompok usia terbesar adalah antara 60 dan 69 tahun (46%), wanita (53%), memiliki diet tinggi garam (72%), sering merokok (26%), minum alkohol (15%), tidak sering berolahraga (78%), dan memiliki Indeks Massa Tubuh di atas normal berupa kegemukan (37%) dan obesitas kelas I (2%). Kata kunci: Hipertensi, Karakteristik Hipertensi, Puskesmas Mustika Jaya Bekasi. / Hypertension, or commonly referred to as high or increased blood pressure, is a condition of excessive blood pressure in which the systolic and/or diastolic pressure is ≥140 and ≥90 mmHg respectively. Gender and age are considered to be patent or irreversible risk factors for hypertension. Non-patentable or modifiable risk factors include excessive salt intake, smoking, alcohol, physical inactivity and a higher than normal Body Mass Index. The aim of the study was to describe the characteristics of hypertension sufferers at the Mustika Jaya Bekasi Health Center in 2021. With a total sample of 100 patients, a descriptive observational research approach was used to characterize the features of hypertension. The results showed that the largest age group was between 60 and 69 years (46%), female (53%), had a high-salt diet (72%), smoked frequently (26%), drank alcohol (15%), did not exercise frequently (78%), and had a Body Mass Index above normal in the form of obesity (37%) and class I obesity (2%).
