Abstract

Rendahnya motivasi belajar mahasiswa dapat menghambat pencapaian tujuan dalam pendidikan sehingga diperlukan adanya dorongan dari dalam maupun luar diri seseorang untuk memiliki tujuan yang ingin dicapai. Dorongan dari dalam terlihat dari seseorang yang memiliki semangat dalam dirinya. Begitu pula dorongan dari luar dapat berupa adanya dukungan dari keluarga, dosen, dan teman sebaya serta lingkungan sekitarnya. Dorongan dari luar juga dapat berupa interaksi antarsesama manusia, khususnya dalam penelitian ini adanya interaksi melalui komunikasi antarpribadi teman sebaya yang dapat berpengaruh untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Komunikasi yang terjadi dapat secara langsung (face to face) atau melalui media Smartphone. Dalam hal komunikasi antarpribadi, adanya umpan balik (feedback) yang terjadi dalam proses bertukar pesan dengan orang lain. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti mengggunakan teori dialogis. Baxter mengatakan bahwa hubungan memiliki sifat yang dinamis, dan komunikasi adalah cara bagaimana seseorang mengelola persamaan dan perbbedaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei kuantitatif deskriptif. Peneliti melakukan survei kepada 82 responden yang merupakan sampel dari populasi penelitian yaitu mahasiswa program studi S1 Hukum Universitas Indonesia Angkatan 2022. Hasil penelitian ini kemudian diolah menggunakan SPSS versi 23. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh komunikasi antarpribadi teman sebaya terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa dan hubungannya saling berkaitan satu sama lain dengan pernyataan komunikasi antarpribadi memiliki kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 66,6%, terhadap tingkat motivasi belajar mahasiswa program studi S1 Hukum Universitas Indonesia. Lalu koefisien regresi komunikasi antarpribadi sebesar 0,832 menyatakan bahwa setiap penambahan 1% nilai komunikasi antarpribadi, maka tingkat motivasi belajar bertambah sebesar 0,832, hasil ini memiliki pengaruh positif. / Low student learning motivation can hinder the achievement of goals in education so that it is necessary to have encouragement from within and outside a person's self to have goals to be achieved. Encouragement from within can be seen from someone who has passion in him. Likewise, encouragement from outside can be in the form of support from family, lecturers, peers and the surrounding environment. Encouragement from outside can also be in the form of interactions between fellow human beings, especially in this study there is interaction through peer-to-peer interpersonal communication which can have an effect on increasing student learning motivation. Communication that occurs can be direct (face to face) or through Smartphone media. In terms of interpersonal communication, there is feedback that occurs in the process of exchanging messages with other people. In this study, researchers used dialogic theory. Baxter said that relationships have a dynamic nature, and communication is how one manages similarities and differences. This study uses a descriptive quantitative survey method. The researcher conducted a survey of 82 respondents who were a sample of the research population, namely students of the University of Indonesia Law Study Program Class of 2022. The results of this study were then processed using SPSS version 23. The results of this study were that there was an effect of peer-to�peer interpersonal communication on student learning motivation and the relationship is interrelated with each other with interpersonal communication statements having an influence contribution of 66.6%, on the level of learning motivation of students of the Law Study Program at the University of Indonesia. Then the interpersonal communication regression coefficient of 0.832 states that for every 1% addition of the value of interpersonal communication, the level of learning motivation increases by 0.832, this result has a positive influence.
