Abstract

Hendrikus W. Magawitara. Analisis Pemahaman dan Pelaksanaan Motto UKI; Melayani, Tidak Dilayani Mahasiswa FKIP UKI. Skripsi, Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Kristen Universitas Kristen Indonesia, Jakarta, 2020. Penelitian ini membahas tentang Motto UKI Tidak Mengabdi pada Mahasiswa FKIP UKI. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya gap tindakan yang mencerminkan sikap tidak melayani yaitu: Mahasiswa UKI (FKIP UKI) tidak menjaga kebersihan lingkungan (membuang sampah keluar dari tempatnya), tidak memiliki kesadaran untuk melakukan pekerjaan yang bukan tanggung jawabnya, misalnya menyiapkan ruang kelas, menyiapkan peralatan perkuliahan dan berinisiatif menghubungi dosen saat hendak melakukan perkuliahan. Selain itu, beberapa mahasiswa juga ditemukan bersikap cuek dalam ikut membantu kegiatan kampus. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pemahaman dan implementasi motto UKI tidak terlayani oleh mahasiswa FKIP UKI. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik penentuan informan. Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 16 orang yang terdiri dari 8 prodi dan diwakili 2 orang setiap prodi FKIP. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara tertulis (angket), sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan model analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Mahasiswa FKIP UKI telah memahami makna motto UKI yaitu mengabdi bukan mengabdi. 2) Mahasiswa FKIP UKI telah menerapkan motto UKI yaitu mengabdi, bukan dilayani. This research discusses the motto of the Christian University of Indonesia not to be served by lecturers and students of the Christian University of Indonesia. This research is motivated by the existence of a gap in actions that reflect a non-serving attitude, namely: FKIP students at the Christian University of Indonesia do not maintain environmental cleanliness (place literacy) do not have the awareness to act. jobs that are not their responsibility, for example preparing classrooms, preparing lecturer equipment and taking the initiative to contact the lecturer if you want to go to the lecturer. In addition, some were found to be ignorant in contributing to help with an activity on campus. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which the understanding and implementation of the motto of the Christian University of Indonesia were not served by teacher and education faculty students. In this study the authors used a qualitative descriptive method with informant determination techniques. There were 16 (sixteen) informants represented by 2 (two) students in each study program in FKIP. The data were collected using a written interview technique (quiestionaire), while the data analysis technique used a descriptive analysis model. The results showed that: (1) Teaching and education faculty students have understood the meaning of the Indonesian Christian University's motto, which is to serve not to be served. (2) Student training and teacher education have implemented the motto of the Christian University of Indonesia, namely to serve not to be served.
