Abstract

Hipertensi masih menjadi masalah kesehatan global dengan proporsi yang signifikan. Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia memperkirakan bahwa hipertensi bertanggung jawab atas kematian 7,5 juta orang per tahun, atau sekitar 12,8% dari semua kematian. Seseorang dikatakan hipertensi jika hasil pembacaan tekanan darah sistolik 140-160 mm Hg atau pembacaan diastolik 90-95 mm Hg. Salah satu faktor risiko hipertensi adalah meningkatnya akumulasi lemak intra abdominal. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan obesitas terhadap tekanan darah tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik pada rancangan penelitian cross sectional study. Sampel penelitian adalah seluruh pasien dewasa di Klinik Tjakra Medika Cijantung yang bisa diperoleh dari periode juni-agustus 2022 dengan jumlah populasinya yaitu 46 orang. Berdasarkan penelitian ditemukan hubungan yang signifikan (p 0,04) antara obesitas dengan tekanan darah pasien di Klinik Tjakra Cijantung dengan kekuatan hubungannya positif kuat (r 0,624). kelompok usia terbanyak yang mengalami hipertensi adalah kelompok usia 40-54 tahun dan jenis kelamin dengan hipertensi terbanyak adalah laki-laki. Dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa pasien obesitas memiliki tekanan darah lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan berat badan normal. Kata kunci: Obesitas, Tekanan darah, Usia, Jenis kelamin. / Hypertension is still a global health problem with a high number of sufferers. The World Health Organization estimates that hypertension is responsible for the death of 7.5 million people per year, or about 12.8% of all deaths. A person is diagnosed with hypertension if the systolic blood pressure are 140-160 mm Hg or the diastolic are 90-95 mm Hg. One of the risk factors for hypertension is the increased accumulation of intra-abdominal fat. The purpose of this study was to determine the relation between obesity and high blood pressure. This study uses analytic methods in a cross-sectional study design. The research sample was all adult patients at the Cijantung Tjakra Medika Clinic obtained from June-August 2022 period with a total population of 46 people. Based on the research, it was found that there was a significant relation (p 0.04) between obesity and blood pressure of patients at the Cijantung Tjakra Clinic with a strong positive corellation power (r 0.624). 40-54 years is the most agae group of patient with hypertension and men are the most diagnosed gender with hypertension in this population. It can be concluded that obese patients have higher blood pressure compared to normal weight. Keywords: Obesity, Hypertension, Age, Gender
