Abstract

Kabupaten Seram Bagian Timur memiliki kekayaan alam yang sangat besar, dan memiliki daya jual yang cukup besar di bidang pariwisata, khususnya dalam penelitian ini dilihat dari potensi wisata bahari di Kabupaten Seram Bagian Timur yang begitu indah dan asri. Dengan adanya keindahan yang dimiliki mampu meningkatkan Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) dan dapat membuka lapangan kerja untuk masyarakat Kabupaten Seram Bagian Timur. Tugas Dinas Pariwisata adalah untuk mengelola dan mempromosikan destinasi wisata. Fokus penelitian ini adalah Pengelolaan Destinasi Wisata Bahari Melalui Kegiatan Promosi Bidang Pemasaran Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Seram Bagian Timur. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pengelolaan Destinasi Wisata Bahari Melalui Kegiatan Promosi Bidang Pemasaran Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Seram Bagian Timur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pengelolaan destinasi wisata bahari masih belum memadai, serta kegiatan promosi yang dilakukan Dinas Pariwisata juga belum memanfaatkan perkembangan media digital, akibatnya banyak masyarakat luas yang belum mengetahui tentang keindahan yang dimiliki Kabupaten Seram Bagian Timur. Hambatan yang dihadapi Dinas Pariwisata antaralain ; Kurangnya Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang mempunyai latar belakang pendidikan pariwisata,fasilitas transportasi yang belum memadai,dan tidak ada jaringan internet sehingga promosi yang dilakukan Dinas Pariwisata belum maksimal dan belum menggunakan media sosial. Kata kunci : Pengelolaan,Promosi,Pariwisata Bahari East Seram District has a huge natural wealth, and has considerable selling power in the field of tourism, especially in this research is seen from the potential of maritime tourism in the eastern Seram regency that is so beautiful and lush. With the beauty that has to be able to increase the Regional Genuine Income and can open employment for the Community East Seram District. The task of tourism office is to manage and promote tourist destinations. The focus of this research is the management of maritime tourism destinations through the promotion activities of the marketing field of eastern Seram Regency. The purpose of this research is to know the management of maritime tourism destinations through the promotion activities of the marketing field of Eastern Seram Regency. The method used in this research is a qualitative, descriptive method of research. The results of this study showed that the management of maritime tourism destinations still not adequate, as well as the promotion activities undertaken by the Tourism Office also has not utilized the development of digital media, as a result many people who do not know About the beauty of the eastern Seram regency. Barriers faced by the Intercity tourism Agency; lack of Human Resources (HR) that has a tourism education background, transportation facilities are not adequate, and no Internet network so that the promotion of the tourism office is not maximal and not using the media Social.
