Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1). Menganalisis kenakalan remaja usia 16-18 tahun di HKBP Bukittinggi. (2). Menganalisis cara menangani kenakalan remaja usia 16-18 tahun di HKBP Bukittinggi ditinjau dari perspektif PAK. (3). Menganalisis cara menangani kenakalan remaja usia 16-18 tahun di HKBP Bukittinggi ditinjau dari perspektif psikologi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di HKBP Bukittinggi pada bulan Oktober 2020 sampai bulan Juli 2021. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah remaja usia 16-18 tahun. Terdapat 80 remaja usia 16-18 tahun diambil dari 5 perwakilan remaja dengan kriteria dan 1 orang Gembala/pimpinan, 1 orang Diakones, 1 orang ketua Dewan Koinonia, 1 Paniroi Remaja, 1 orang tua yang dianggap informan. Penentuan sampel ini berdasarkan tujuan penelitian. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah wawancara kepada pembina remaja dan 5 remaja usia 16-18 tahun. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa menangani kenakalan remaja usia 16-18 tahun belum efektif karena banyak tugas dan fungsi pembina remaja belum dilaksanakan sebagaimana semestinya. Terlebih lagi sumberdaya yang berkompeten dalam memahami pendidikan Agama Kristen dan perkembangan psikologi atau kejiwaan pada remaja usia 16-18 tahun sangat minim pengetahuan tersebut dikalangan pembina remaja usia 16-18 tahun. Sehingga setiap pembina remaja tidak maksimal dalam menangani kenakalan remaja usia 16-18 tahun di HKBP Bukittinggi. Mengingat pentingnya pengetahuan PAK dan perkembangan psikologi atau kejiwaan dalam menangani kenakalan remaja usia 16-18, maka pelayan remaja usia 16-18 tahun di HKBP Bukittinggi perlu banyak belajar dengan mengikuti pelatihan, seminar dan bimbingan konseling, agar diberikan kemampuan untuk menjalankan tugas dan fungsinya dengan baik. Selain itu pembina remaja usia 16-18 tahun perlu mengadakan pendekatan yang lebih kepada remaja usia 16-18 tahun agar lebih memahami setiap permasalahan remaja usia 16-18 tahun di HKBP Bukittinggi. Kata Kunci : Peran Gereja, Kenakalan Remaja. / The research aimed to (1) Analyze juvenile delinquency among the age of 16-18 years old at HKBP Bukittinggi (2) Analyze the way of how to handle juvenile delinquency among the age of 16-18 years old at HKBP Bukittinggi from Christian Religious Education perspective. (3) Analyze the way of how to handle juvenile delinquency among the age of 16-18 years old at HKBP Bukittinggi from psychological perspective. This research was conducted at HKBP Bukttinngi from October 2020 to July 2021. The subject to this study was the youth between the age of 16-18 years old. There were 80 of young individuals with age range from 16 to 18 years old with 5 of them represented groups with criteria, 1 the pastor/leader, 1 Deaconess, 1 the head of Koinonia and 1 youth committee, 1 parents who was an informant. Sampling was determined based upon the purposes of the research. The research instruments used were interviews with the youth coaches and the 5 young individuals in the age range from 16-18 years old. The results of this research show that the juvenile delinquency handling among the age of 16-18 years old has not been effective because many of the duties and functions of the youth builders have not been carried out properly, and there is a lack of competent resources who understand Christian religious education and psychological or psyche development of youth the age of 16-18 years old. As a result, the juvenile delinquency among those ages at HKBP Bukittinggi has not been handled by the teen builders at the maximum. Given the importance of the knowledge in Christian Religious Education and psychological or psyche development in dealing with juvenile delinquency aged 16-18 years, there is a need for the teen builders at HKBP Bukittinggi to gain more knowledge through seminar, study, training, workshop and counseling in order to them to be able to do their duties and functions properly. In addtion to that, the teen builders need to approach them in a better way to better understand every youth problem at HKBP Bukittinggi among the of age 16-18 years old.
