Abstract

Mirian Tandi. Manajemen Boarding School, Motivasi dan Hasil belajar Siswa Di SMA Kristen Barana’. Tesis Pascasarjana Program Studi Administrasi/Manajemen Pendidikan Universitas Kristen Indonesia, 2022. Dalam penelitian ini membahas tentang Pengaruh Manajemen Boarding School dan Motivasi terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa di SMA Kristen Barana’. Tujuannya untuk menganalisis (1) pengaruh Manajemen Boarding School terhadap Hasil belajar Siswa di SMA Kristen Barana’; (2) pengaruh Motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar Siswa di SMA Kristen Barana’; (3) pengaruh Manajemen Boarding School dan Motivasi terhadap Hasil belajar Siswa di SMA Kristen Barana’. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif yaitu asosiatif hubungan kausal. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel dimana jumlah sampelnya ditentukan sesuai kebutuhan peneliti secara acak yaitu siswa SMA Kristen Barana’ kelas XI Mipa yang berjumlah 100 orang adalah Purposive Random Sampling. Perolehan data menggunakan instrumen penelitian yaitu kuisioner dengan skala Likert. Terdapat tiga variabel pada penelitian ini antara lain Manajemen Boarding School (X1), Variabel bebasnya Motivasi belajar (X2) lalu variabel terikatnya adalah Hasil belajar (Y). Dari penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa : (1) Manajemen Boarding School berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar, dengan perolehan thitung =7.825 lalu signifikansi 0.000 lebih kecil dari 0.05, kontribusi yang diberikan sebesar 38,5% sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, (2) Motivasi belajar memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar, Dapat dilihat dari perolehan thitung sebesar 8.583 lalu signifikansinya 0.000 lebih kecil dari 0.05 sementara kontribusi yang diberikan sebesar 0.423 atau 42.3% maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, (3) Manajemen Boarding School memiliki pengaruh sebesar 0.441 dan Motivasi belajar memiliki pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar yang positif sebesar 0.600 dan signifikan secara bersama-sama. Terlihat dari hasil analisis data, dimana hasil Fhitung lebih besar dari Ftabel, lalu jumlah Fhitung adalah 71.602 dan Ftabel sebesar 3.09 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Berdasarkan hasil uji pengaruh maka Manajemen boarding school perlu di tingkatkan lagi baik dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan maupun evaluasinya begitu pula motivasi belajar siswa harus di tingkatkan lagi terutama cara berpikir, mengatur waktu, dan suasana hati untuk belajar dengan cara disiplin waktu, membuat jadwal belajar sendiri atau mengikuti jadwal belajar yang dibuat oleh asrama dengan baik dan benar dan tak lupa sekolah menambah jumlah Pamong Asrama, sarana penunjang berupa fasilitas yang lebih memadai baik di asrama maupun sekolah demi peningkatan Manajemen boarding school, motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa di SMA Kristen Barana’. Postgraduate Thesis of Educational Administration/Management Study Program, Indonesian Christian University, 2022. This study discusses the Effect of Boarding School Management and Motivation on Student Learning Outcomes at Barana Christian High School. The aim is to analyze (1) the effect of Boarding School Management on Student Learning Outcomes at Barana Christian High School'; (2) the influence of learning motivation on student learning outcomes at Barana Christian High School; (3) the effect of Boarding School Management and Motivation on Student Learning Outcomes at Barana Christian High School. This study uses a quantitative method, namely associative causal relationships. The technique used in sampling where the number of samples was determined according to the needs of the researchers randomly, namely Barana' Christian High School students in class XI Mipa, totaling 100 people, was Purposive Random Sampling. Obtaining data using a research instrument, namely a questionnaire with a Likert scale. There are three variables in this study including Boarding School Management (X1), the independent variable Learning motivation (X2) and the dependent variable is Learning Outcomes (Y). The results showed that: (1) Boarding School Management has a positive and significant influence on learning outcomes, with the acquisition of tcount = 7.825 then a significance of 0.000 is less than 0.05, then 38.5% contribution is given then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, (2) Motivation learning has a positive and significant influence on learning outcomes. It can be seen from the acquisition of tcount of 8,583 then the significance of 0,000 is less than 0.05 while the contribution made is 0.423 or 42.3% then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, (3) Boarding School Management has an influence of 0.441 and learning motivation has a positive influence on learning outcomes of 0.600 and are significant together. It can be seen from the results of data analysis, where the results of Fcount are greater than Ftable, then the number of Fcount is 71,602 and Ftable is 3.09 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on the results of the influence test, the boarding school management needs to be improved both in planning, implementation and evaluation as well as student learning motivation must be increased again, especially the way of thinking, managing time and mood to study by means of time discipline, making their own study schedules or properly and correctly following the study schedule made by the hostel and not forgetting to increase the number of hostel tutors, supporting facilities in the form of more adequate facilities both in the hostel and school for the purpose of improving boarding school management, motivation and student learning outcomes at Barana' Christian High School.
